    Rival Wings balancing needs a major rework.

    Dark Knights, SMN,White mages and all melee need to get MAJOR nerfs to even make this game mode even remotely fun.

    There is nothing like midgame when a DRK jumps on you, presses 2 buttons and LB's and your dead within a single GCD and then he just walks out of your 15+ team because he is immortal for 10 seconds.

    DRK LB should last 5 seconds maximum.

    White Mage LB generation needs to be nerfed into the ground, when you can chain Stunlock LB's back to back to back to back non stop for half the game, its broken.

    Melee in general, are way too tanky, they may as well just be tanks at this point, When a dragoon can jump into a team and survive for 20+ seconds while getting piled, you know there is a problem.

    SMN just does SMN things. Stupid amounts of OGCD damage allowing you to literally 1shot people and get your LB back instantly. There has been times when i would just chain bahamut into phoenix then back into bahamut non stop for 5+ minutes.

    yeah that's what the buffs does increases LB gen
    and its funny as hell that ninja basically has infinite LB at max buff

    That buff sounds puzzling in a mode where there is more downtime than CC already, and LBs are already up most of the time on their own...

    Sounds like you've had bad experiences, but how many games have you played OP ? A DRK doesn't one shot you and walk out safely, it just gets CCed until it dies, unless it had teammates close by, in which case it's a different scenario. If we're strictly talking "tank damage", I'd be much more wary of a GNB's burst.

    Besides, due to the smaller pool of players, you'll encounter premades that know the ins and outs of the game mode, who snowball hard and who can be frustrating to face if you only want to do a casual game or two on your own. Even skilled solo pvp players can be very annoying on certain jobs, but by playing more you start to identify and play around or dodge them. Maybe this is what happened to you ? Premades are a common source of complaints and frustration, especially since the player skill level is higher than in frontlines for example.

    RW has issues especially with the high damage since 6.1 and due to how LB generation works (wait until you see a DRK LB back to back to back for 30s of invulnerability), but white mage is clearly not the worst offender. In fact, you complain about WHM LB generation but it's the same for every job.
    If anything WHMs lose on this one since they might have their LB available again before they get their CD back. The same thing that can be seen with summoner chaining Bahamut and Phoenix in 2 GCDs.
    Also, dragoons fold easily if they're getting piled as you say, they're no exception, but you need to play around roar. If anything dragoon's strongest suit is how easy it is to maneuver, jump around the battlefield, dive on mechs and los players without too much issue. It's very meta for a reason. That being said, melees are far, far from being the tanks they are in frontlines.

    And at 20 stacks pretty much everyone one shots everyone.

    If you like the mode but don't like the damage, I'd say just keep at it and observe skilled players, it's so valuable in understanding how things work in there.

    Monk is the worst offender in RW. It one-shots most jobs at full health.

    lb generation should be 100% longer/slower to prevent 1 death in mid to decide the whole battle

    gobbiejuice train should be replaced by something more useful, maybe a 25% Repair Kit for your tower/base or a Superminion buff for 1min, LB is useless if its almost always full anyway

    brute justice can stunlock you indefinetly if it wants to, seems like having crowdcontrol diminishing returns would be better for the mode (even if very unlikely to happen)... flamethrower and megabeam are getting less uses because enemies can always purify stunlock, therefore BJ should get ~25% more HP to be able to sustain more

    drg LB is very strong against mechs, and very hard to deal with because they get a huge shield after the LB

    mercenaries and gobtanks have way too much HP, should be reduced by like 25-30%

    would be cooler if 3rd wave mammets are not stopping for the 1st wave to go on, in every MOBA there is sometimes a big minion wave, in FFXIV that is actively supressed by the coding
    also increase CE from minions by 50% (it is more common that 1 premade grp farms the CE collectors, which only leaves other ways of CE generation to get mechs)

    base cannons feel underwhelming, maybe have 2 modes that only do dmg against mech/merc or against people

    oppressors are fine, chasers could use 10% more HP

    You're just being salty for losing on 1 game

    The worst offender is the MNK that can kill healer, caster, and ranged with Enlightment + Meteodrive, and also each of their kills generate half to 3/4 of the LB bar.

    BLM as well. I've LBed, gotten one kill, got full LB back, used all 6 stacks and Foul, LBed again, got a kill, full LB back, rinse and repeat. This mode is pure chaotic fun and I missed it so much.
