You know what they could do though? Even though you doubt it? Consider moving away from NTT. It sure seems like that would solve the problem for a lot of their customers effective immediately, without having to wait for the ISPs to troubleshoot for them.I highly doubt SE would switch away from NTT, even tho they're holding a big part of their community hostage at this point. I've also been trying to stay in contact with ATT through this whole mess and they've told me over and over the problem is outside their network.
We have absolutely no pull with NTT, we don't pay them. Getting in contact with our ISP like the lodestone suggested doesn't help bc NTT is the problem.
I don't understand how SE isn't doing anything bc they pay NTT for a service they aren't providing.

Sure, but I still doubt it will happen.
SE opening up temporary servers in a different location is more realistic, and even that's unlikely.

This has been going on for almost 2 weeks for many and up to almost 2 months for some. There is no clear sign of a fix coming from SE at all. Last night i caved in, got a 50$ TP link router, setup express vpn on it so me and my girlfriend could play on playstation. Hopefully they get it fixed in the next 30 days so i can get my money back. The other night I tried to play and its just not playable and as someone who pays their sub for 6 months at a time its bad on SE to treat their customers this way.
The other thing I've noticed including Lag / Rubber Banding been getting d/c'd ALOT today. Even seen people d/c in Dungeons.

Really wishing I had read all this before paying for another month……

The only next step I can think to do is possibly flood the party finder in hopes of getting SE to finally communicate.
It's not our ISP that's the problem, it's SE's.
It's unconventional and probably worthless but what else can we do?
Don't do this. It won't accomplish anything and they'll just warn/ban you for inappropriate use of PF.
Either find a VPN that works, or send them a financial message by unsubbing/not buying FF16. If you can, reach out to gaming news sites.
Don't potentially lose an account/character you put hours of hard work and time into.

I appreciate you looking out, but I don't understand how it would be an inappropriate use of the PF. There are people offering ERP and even feet pics, but asking for communication from a game we pay monthly for is inappropriate?
Feel free to do this at your own risk. Personally, I have too much to lose to take a chance on it. I'm not entirely sure what is categorized as frivolous/report-able use of PF, and I'm not risking a 10-year account on the chance a GM is having a bad day and takes it out on me.
But if you happen to get taken to GM jail for it, the argument that "Other people are doing worse!" isn't going to help your cause.
I'm also not entirely sure how a few angry PF listings are going to help convince SE ($6 Billion Net Worth) to make demands of NTT. ($20 Billion Net Worth)
