AT&T Fiber in Texas. Been lagging like crazy since yesterday and only with FFXIV. Been wondering what was the cause.
Another ATT person, just boosting this to pretend like it'll fix it faster.
ATT customer, SE Wisconsin, had bad lag to ff14 servers yesterday and continuing today.
Created a thread about this yesterday thinking it was something else entirely.
Are we certain this is not some new change from AT&T? The vast majority in this thread seem to be from the same ISP. Currently in Alabama, but an Atlanta GA location in the VPN fixed things for me immediately.
Could be, with how they're passing things to NTT. I've got less than 20ms on the trace until the trace hits anything related to NTT. Then it goes up to the 50s and then it doubles at the Sacramento node. If not AT&T itself then NTT seems to have a problem there.Created a thread about this yesterday thinking it was something else entirely.

What confuses me is the location that I experience the stutter stepping. In Dungeons/Trials/interacting with my retainer - it is minor. Very slight, hardly noticeable.
But the second I queue into Frontlines - it is Constant.
That's what made me think throttling, rather than a congested data center.
Another AT&T customer from SC. Experiencing rubberbanding and dc for past 2 days :-/
Could be throttling for some and problems with the node for others. It's been constant for me. Retainers not coming up right away. Seeing people rubber-band just walking through Radz. Constant rubber-banding when trying to tank in Copied Factory. I didn't try any other instances because I tried last night and they were torture. Can't go do MSQ things on my alt because the latency makes questing and solo instances constantly unresponsive. What confuses me is the location that I experience the stutter stepping. I'm just kind of chilling and rebuilding my shard supply that got depleted working on sub stuff with retainer ventures and reading manga between checking them each hour cause for the moment I can't do much of anything in the game right now. AT&T's support has been less than helpful, but that's par for the course with them.

AT&T Fiber user here in Atlanta. Same lag issues. I feel like this has something that has been going in for months but it has never actually gotten this bad.
