Bad lag again with NTT's NA server network

What sorcery is this? It's 7pm eastern (personally I suspect it's because people are on the road for the holiday right now and it will be bad this weekend when lots more are on)

I've been using PIA VPN. Silicon Valley and Michigan/Chicago seem to work okay but they still hit that 129.250.7.57 IP. And last night I was on Michigan and I was getting severe input delay in Euphrosyne.

So I played around with some and found that Honolulu does not hit that IP. No more input delay or lag once I swapped to that one.

I know not everyone was hitting that IP but that's seemed to be my pain point and eliminating that with a VPN choice is what's working for me.

And again, we shouldn't have to use a VPN just to play this game.

My ping is normal at the moment, too. Time will tell if it stays this way, though.

I'm also getting "Connection: Excellent" on the character select screen instead of "Connection: Poor" like the last week and change.

I'm cautiously optimistic considering it's primetime right now and things seem ok, but we'll have to see how things hold up over the weekend.
