Bad lag again with NTT's NA server network

I'm connecting to NA from EU, ping is spiking up to 600ms in game, macros for crafting aren't firing correctly... can't play DNC as it doesn't tell me my dance has registered until 1/2 a second after I've pressed it...

Tracert shows its gin.ntt.net within the US too:

Talked to some buddies and it seems to be affecting EU players only, particularly those who play on NA servers about evening/night time (so about later afternoon for US peeps).

I noticed it about an hour and a half ago (10 BST) and seen it happen until about 6PM before.

Currently around 1 PM BST at the moment here and the lag has started. Can't gather nodes, and animation is stuck in between each hit for about 1-2 seconds. I've submitted my report with the tracert, but I have little hope or expectations for them do to anything.

Sadly having the same problem. Very noticeable latency issue over the last few days, has become progressively worse. Seemed to happen mainly during the evening (GMT). Used to get on average 140-160ms, now it's been at 400-600ms for the last 3-4 hours today. Game is completely unplayable, everything else works perfectly fine.

I've also been having similar issues the past few days, not seeing any real pattern with it on my end but it only happens for ffxiv

Here's my PingPlotter, tracing the IP provided by SE on the lodestone. Hitting 480ms sometimes, meaning the game is completely unplayable (hiding my IP for security measures ofc). You can also check your ping in Task Manager > Performance > Open Resource Monitor (at the bottom) and hit Network tab and then TCP Connections. The actual ping is there.



In comparison, here's the trace for the EU IP.



This shows that it's again NTT.

Not really much SE can do about it honestly as its not their network. I started getting random spikes last month in the middle of raid. Ended up using ping zapper and haven't had any issues since then.

Just saw it jump up tp 700ms, this is reaching pings that could effect a multitude of things let alone just FFXIV players, what are NTT doing.. guess the best we can do is notify SE with the ticket system they made for this issue and try and tell NTT but I have no idea what their contact info is, they seem to hide it.

Installing WARP by Cloudfire seems to have fixed the issue for me, pings back down to 145 from 700

Yeah as below, this doesn't work, lowers ping to 150MS but the traffic is still terrible
