I got 30 min timeout from Ranked because of striking dummies!?

I decided I'd switch from BRD to DNC because bard is basically about buffing your teammates which is pointless when your teammates are terrible. So I decide to practice DNC stuff on the striking dummies to refresh my memory.

DUTY READY! You must switch back to bard.

So I reset the striking dummies and put away the chakrams.

The combat is still going.

I fumble around with this until the timer runs out on me, only to learn to that I had accidentally aggroed a striking dummy behind me.

YOU MAY NOT QUEUE FOR THIRTY MINUTES!

Honestly Squeenix, can you stop coming up with stupid reasons to hand out timeouts?

It's like you really don't want me to play this game, but you sure want my monthly fee.

I'd think that 42 seconds is still more than enough time to be like whoops, I accidentally agroed another target dummy, and to reset them all, and change jobs, even with a mouse on the lowest possible DPI settings.

if you got a time out that means you already dodged 2 other queues today. i would suggest only queueing for dungeon when you are ready to play

You had to have missed some queues to get a 30minute timeout.

Nope. You get a 30 minute timeout after one miss with Ranked PvP.

For Crustal Conflict you get a penalty for missing a single que. This was Yoshi P's definitive solution to stopping wintrading once and for all, somehow.

You get an instant strike timeout when missing a ranked queue, which is the dumbest thing on earth. Not only it removes people from a pool of players that is already tiny, but it also serves literally no purpose.

I also really fail to see how this stops wintrading since you can't know in advance what the teams are before accepting the queue, but there is probably something I'm not seeing...

Lol I can't either, yet that was the reason for the change.
