Well they need to start innovating again if they want to keep the game relevant. Make the changes and if people whine and cry about tell them to nut up or shut up.

It wasnt as long as that it came either just before orjust after 11 came to Xbox. Nvm was 9 years after release. Just seemed shorter as Xbox was on the test server for a while first.

LOL! This made me chuckle! x"D It's true though in the sense that "you cannot make everyone happy", it's impossible to make a game that everybody is gonna love, you have to go with what the majority will accept or push boundaries and show them why they need to accept it in order to have new wonderful gaming experiences![]()
From the company perspective, the question is how many are you talking about? If it's a relative few and you believe "innovating" (whatever that actually means in non-pointless-buzzword form) will attract you more players, then you do it. On the other hand, if you're telling a huge chunk of your playerbase to shut up and like it or leave, that's self-destructive. Go ahead - "innovate" and watch your game die because you listened to a few malcontents while ignoring that most of your players are still very much content and enjoying their experience.
I'm a firm believer that if they increased the tick rate / reduced snapshot times, and gave us an unlock checklist for glam instead of the broken, confusing garbage we have now.. We'd be in a way better place, and a lot of people would be happier for it. Those are systems that don't detract from the existing gameplay we have currently, and only improve everyone's overall experience.
