    Turn Battle High into Battle Die

    There's really no incentive to attack people with Battle high, especially when they are stacked with more Health, damage reduction, and potency. It quite literally takes an entire team slapping BH V with CC just to get *one* of them. An entire team of BH V? They'll just wipe you without a hint of worry that they'll die.

    I think its time to put a big flashing neon sign on the map telling everyone where they are, ontop of that giving a fat juicy bonus for killing them, with them already losing their team points on death anyway.

    ...Or they can just completely remove the battle high system. The only people who are going to cry about it going away are sweaty DRK, NIN or SAM players that are sad their cheese LB won't give them free license to kill even more people with impunity.

    im guessing someone DRK DRG killed your whole team just now. it is unfortunate.

    It's not just the state of melee, its the whole system of Frontlines. Damage reduction is a problem for melee sure, but they go a step further and the winning team that is scoring all the kills remains the winning team since they're rocking BH V, and are virtually untouchable without literally being completely swarmed by both teams. There is no reason for battle high to even exist in front lines.

    I would think the purpose of Battle High is to be a reward for doing well is the ability to do even better with the idea that you become a bigger target... but that doesn't happen that much and it's not equal throughout the classes and roles. A high DR character (more so if they can cheese environmental kills for faster kill count) gaining high damage is a lot different then a support that can get BH5 over the course of the match and lose it all really easy.

    Battle high is just a potential snowball mechanic that I don't believe belongs in PVP if the characters are not equal.

    I don't think that the jobs will ever be equal in front lines, especially if they're only going to balance the jobs based upon CC.

    Battle High doesn't provide additional damage reduction (but I do agree that it increases recuperate). BH V generally don't die because they're better players aware of what they can do to get away with it. A good amount of them (the sweatiest ones) also have pocket healers.

    The incentive to wipe BH V players is to remove that threat first and foremost. It's not that hard if you have certain types of crowd control jobs that can yoink them, or at least it can threaten them seriously. I've gotten plenty of them down with a WAR for instance, but you can also use MNK with the stun then the LB. Wait for them to commit and punish them by marking them for your team.

    Don't get me wrong though, I agree that BH kills should provide more tactical points, and that the system snowballs too hard.
