I acknowledge the rest of your post but this line right here is how I feel about the forums. The trolls live only because posters give them the attention. Pure and and simple. They're not in the game. They're probably at work, during break. Or on their bed and it's 2am, whatever little space of time they have, they fill it up with this forum and with these trolls because they love chaos [...]

Let's be real, people who "enjoy chaos" are effectively trolls themselves, they just opt to piggyback on other threads and spam gifs and jokes instead of bothering to make any of their own.

But some of the people constantly giving these inane bids for attention air are the same people who lambaste other users for spending so much time complaining about various aspects of the game/ community. I'm not defending all of their behaviour, but when you criticise someone for choosing to mire themselves in negativity and then go on to waste your time butting heads with renowned troll accounts for no other purpose but apparently to show how enlightened you are, it's time to admit you're part of the problem.

BiS is a combination of two separate sets, and anyone who's not raiding will be using a combination of tomestone gear, dungeon gear, alliance raid gear, normal mode trial gear, and maybe crafted gear, so if you add a disable glamours feature, you're actually going to end up with even more clownish attire than the existing joke gear. You ever check out your character in the glamour dresser on the tab that shows your unglamoured equipment? I still have nightmares to this day.

Except that HALF of the playerbase today wears fetish glamours, so one cannot avoid it at all.

Alas, I shouldn't be surprised that the playerbase is vehemently against CHOICE being given to prudent, modest individuals who don't feel the need to bring their bedroom into a video game.

The issue is the ‘prudent, modest’ individuals such as yourself cannot accept that there are players who like to wear skimpy, skin showing outfits and create these threads.

You need to look at the game itself and the region. The culture of clothing and how everyone is young in videogames.

Even in old EverQuest the 16bit pixels in 1999 showed off a lot of female cleavage. Look at a female high elf in leather armor. THAT was a fetish look LOL

I dress modestly. I wear white and have a feather/wing motif going on. My husband wears the 2 mil thavnarian dancer outfit on his fem bunny. Love it on his character.

For EQ you forgot the Chainmail garter belts the Dark Elven women wore. Neriak even had a strip club where for a coin they'd wiggle their hands around as a "dance" for half a second lol.
