Does this game not have a history of adding QoL features that were once restricted to mods/3rd party tools that SE has always had a "don't ask, don't tell" policy about? They might not have made decisions based specifically on the use of cosmetic mods, but there's always a first time for everything.

Also side note, I put a lot of work into my glams. It's a bit unfair that through the use of mods people can just hide them, but that's how it is, isn't it? Why not just allow everyone to have access to the same QoL in that case. I mean did you know there's 3rd party tools that let you hide entire characters as well? I suppose you'd be against that but I feel like it's fair for something like that to be added to the game as well.

Many, many players in this game are already using 3rd party tools/mods to essentially live in their own worlds or bubbles, ignoring the great population of the MMO. Why would vanilla players be denied that?
When have they added QoL that contradicts one of the games core advertised features (fashion- it’s on the website). Fashion is also a feature that contributes to the glorious amount of money XIV makes so why would they bother because a few trolls can’t handle a bikini.

Sorry for Op and those like him but every mmo I’ve played had some amount of more revealing clothing options.

Anyway posting another gift so I stay strong. Too much time on this repetitive bait as is.
