Because the victim and the pursuer are busy running around. If both teams are strong, then it is not significant, but if their team is weaker, then this is a significant loss for them. And one more thing. What do you do when you see someone on your team being hunted? Under what circumstances do you help to be saved or leave to die? Cases of outright stupidity are not taken into account. I usually try to help if someone is targeting a second caster, ranged, or healer, unless I need to push the crystal, to protect the crystal spot or whoever is pushing it.
