Yes, it really does work. Usually I just kite them and bring them to my party, right into the crowd.
Dueling at the same job is a sport that I still don't understand. Because why don't they just do their job...
It really depends. In FL it sometimes just happens but is usually bad play choices regardless. In casual CC sometimes it's doing your team a solid by shutting down your mirror job. But if you queue the same job as a griefer there's a good chance you will get to play them again.
Yeah Valence MNK like to do that a lot. Pick the "biggest threat" and sit on them or die trying. xD
In these cases everything is clear, really thank you for the confirmation. However, for example, a paladin is not my mirror job. I can understand when a monk or ninja is chasing me as a summoner or machinist, trying to prevent my LB or increase my resurrection timing so that I am dead at the decisive moment. But a paladin who drops everything and runs after me in circles and then uses LB to survive standing in a turret with DoTs or spends time in a stun instead of giving LB to their group that is trying to counter my team, I don't get it. I also don’t understand why this scenario is repeated over and over again, a person runs after me, dies, runs again, and so several matches, the same madness. In other words, what the heck? I'm asking because maybe there's something else I'm not considering other than simple aggression. It really depends. In FL it sometimes just happens but is usually bad play choices regardless.
