Summarising from the FFXIV Reddit Discord unofficial translation feed:

Patch 6.4 launches on 23 May 2023.

Stuff that we generally knew was coming:
Tataru's Grand Endeavour will continue and requires completion of the Sorrow of Werlyt questline.
New dungeon and trial as previously advertised
Zurvan unreal trial
Pandaemonium: Anabaseios
Variant and Criterion Dungeon: Mount Rokkon - Hancock will be our companion for this.
Duty support for Stormblood MSQ dungeons (not the patches yet)
Ocean fishing
Island Sanctuary
New tomestone type: Comedy (as in Dante's Divine Comedy)
Faerie glamours for scholars, currently including Eos, Selene and Carbuncle
Gearset number increased to 100 and immediately available rather than unlocked when you unlock new jobs
Job icons to be displayed in the chat log and nameplates
Marketboard now can incorporate fees into the purchase total
Fashion accessories - glasses and wings now remain visible in overworld battle
When casting glamours in the inn room, the list can draw from more locations
PVP Series Four and Crystalline Conflict Season Seven, with additional rewards for high-ranking players

Things that will come later in patch 6.45:
Hildibrand story continuation
Manderville weapon upgrades
Splendorous tool upgrades
Blue Mage update to level 80

Job adjustments:
Balance adjustments to damage output but no large-scale changes
Tanks other than DRK will be buffed
Radius of some party buffs extended to 30y
DRG jump will not actually move you back and forth, so you will not jump into AOEs and it can be used when bound
Paladin's Atonement will not interrupt combos

A new reward for Crystalline Conflict players ranking in the top 100 or Diamond tier and above will allow you to apply a special effect to Hellhound weapons:

Frontline adjustments:
New UI
Various adjustments to limit gauge and damage modifiers
Daily Challenge will award Series EXP
Borderland Ruins map temporarily unavailable
A map was shown of an extremely altered PVP field - I am not familiar enough with PVP but I think it is Fields of Glory?
Fields of Glory rules are being adjusted


A demo was given of the new trial and the first tier of Anabaseios, but I'm not going to look at at those.


New tomestone gear is the weapons from the recent Weapon Design Contest (the serious entries, not the joke ones) and gear designed by the FFXIV team.

Meanwhile, BLU gets an umbrella cane (non-opening, just for posing):

Changes to savage loot:
Visually one large coffer instead of two small coffers (actual rewards not affected)
Coffers will not reward duplicate armour pieces for the same slot
Body gear can be earned from P11S
Reduced gear costs
Mythos IV can be swapped for earlier tiers
