Also Allie, whom we'll be getting more of in 6.4.
Then unfortunately I'm pretty sure the story, at least characters will be just like a 7 year old stale bread with the same faces, the same platitudes about friendship and the same predictable dialogues.
I genuinely don't see the issue with this. And I'm not even trying to be cold and heartless, why not just hire a new VA? I genuinely really like Yugiri and wouldn't mind seeing more of her.
It's just a difference in opinion then. Personally, I enjoyed them less once I learned more about them, and feel like they're just boring comic relief at this point, while before they felt like they had depth. Becoming a scion gives a character the chance to overstay his welcome imo. This has more to do with the writers being afraid to let "finished" characters go though, which is probably a topic for a different thread. More power to you if you enjoy a happier Graha though. I get it. I just don't, personally.I don't really get this. Is it that the characters have been shown to be more than just the single detail that was cool? I enjoyed both Estinien and Graha before they got more fleshed out and enjoy them both more now that I have a better idea of who they are underneath all the edgyness.
I've been wishing for another shb-tier isekai arc just to get away from everything and start fresh for almost this exact reason. I'd be thrilled at just, a new squad. But way too many people love the old squad, so that's probably what we'll get to keep for the next decade. To be honest at this point I just want new, grounded and relatable characters like Ardbert's companions. Don't get me wrong, I'm just tired of seeing the same faces all over and I can already predict what they'll say. The proposed new Au Ra NPC doesn't even need to be Yugiri, I'd rather have someone new really. Preferably Au Ra, Roe, Viera maybe a Highlander. And it doesn't help that practically every single Scion character already concluded their stories and Square Enix has no balls to threaten their lives or make them suffer.
Yeah she was kind of forgettable to me too. I honestly couldn't tell you much about her. She just came to mind first for some reason.

I can definitely understand not liking a character, but doesn't depth imply something beneath what you can see? That being their actual personality when they aren't in constant war mode? It's just a difference in opinion then. I would imagine it's out of respect, I believe it happened during SBs production so after that they started to draw down her role. If recall her HW VA was meant to do SB but obviously that happened and so they hired a replacement VA to finish production. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I haven't looked at the details in years.

No it happened at the beginning of HW and she was immediately replaced for the rest of HW and SB.
