Sounds like a position of which contributes nothing to society other than incite hatred between different groups of people and produce trained victims.

Diversity and inclusion is the exact opposite of training people to be victims. It's to empower minority voices by giving them a platform. Something that is done through the government, through corporations, and now through media. If you want to fight against the moral arc of the universe, you will find little company in polite society.

I think it's because the Japanese see themselves as White, have you seen anime? like Look at Sailor moon, clearly a blonde headed girl with blue eyes can't be "Caucasian"


Also In Japan, you have to be " Fair and White" skinned to be beautiful


you also have to be thin and petite, because being "overweight" by their standard isn't considered attractive

It's very unfortunate that parts of their culture contains these attitudes of colorism, but with Square Enix taking a stand for LGBT in FF16, I think we can absolutely be optimistic that SE will listen to the desires for PoC inclusion in FF14. After all they've already done so in FF7, FF9, FF10, FF12, FF13...

Yes. I'm sure there are a great many people who wish to identify as a bipedal talking elephant. And if they choose to either wear brightly coloured robes, or refuse to wear anything at all, we should respect that too.

I also feel that we should not view the inability of those who identify as a Dragon to breathe fire as a disability.
