Button Bloat and Controller potential solutions

Hello Friends, with the advent of 6.4 we draw closer and closer to 7.0 and that means new skill for all of our favorite jobs. For Console/Controller players, depending on the job that’s means having to rotate between a 3rd hot bar, which for me personally isn’t comfortable and I’m sure others agree. So to remedy this I’ve come with 2 potential fixes:

1- Allow us the OPTION, emphasis on OPTION to merge certain combo skills together. Ex1: Fast Blade > Riot Blade > Royal Authority in 1 button
Ex2: For jobs like DRG with different combo routes: True Thrust stays separate, Disembowel > Chaos Spring would be 1 button, Vorpal Thrust > Heavens Thrust would be another
Ex3: For jobs like WAR whose combo route changes at the end: Heavy Swing > Maim would be 1 button, Storms path and Storms eye would remain separate.

While this probably wouldn’t be a fix for all jobs, namely casters, I do think it would at least be a good step

2- Allow pro-controller support so we can bind hot bars to the extra triggers. Sony just came out with a PS5 pro controller, so I imagine an update in one of the patches would do the trick

The only with this is that players would have to and spend the extra money, so there’s that, but that’s just my 2 cents.

They usually gut out old skills.
We're actually very very button light compared to the older amount of cool skills we used to have.

Yes I think most jobs will be okay, but I think stuff like this would hopefully make it so we don’t have to lose cool skills in the name of name bloat (rip kaiten)

You have 128 slots... The shortcuts Cover over 30 of those slots.

There is no button bloat problem in this game.
