Eureka is, was, and always has been designed a group content, and is not soloable or designed to be solo friendly. When you can answer this reasonably, get back to me.skill issue
Having poked about in there with a couple of alts recently because I wanted dyeable job gear, I won't debate that it's a long tedious grind, but what exactly were you doing to get "hit like a truck" by enemies? From my experience there, as long as I was careful to be engaging one enemy at a time, it seemed quite comfortable to be fighting and surviving. I was playing red mage though, so would have had healing backup, but I don't recall needing to constantly use it.
It has definitely improved from what it was when the content was current, where I couldn't 1-vs-1 an enemy without support from a sustaining potion. (Those might be helpful for you. Buy them at base camp or get them from lockboxes.)
Attacked one, two others pulled, three on one, dead.but what exactly were you doing to get "hit like a truck" by enemies?
See my earlier post. Dont know about you but the idea of attacking enemies one by one for what...100 exp each? No thanks. Remove level sync and allow companion healing. Then maybe. I know its a a grind...however theres a line between a grind..............and masochism.I won't debate that it's a long tedious grind
My dude no matter how much you say it, Eureka (all areas as a whole) and BSF & Zadnor aren't dead, just because you were "one shotted" by 3 adds doesn't mean anything at all, you said you searched for a reddit guide about how eureka was done by a %10 of the playerbase but didn't bother to find a guide? it's a well known fact that you have to be carefull to what you pull and never mess with mobs 3-4 levels above you, buy one of the defense boosting armor pieces from the mb and eureka exp potions and use your magia board properly to whistand more attacks or do more attacks depending of the mob element
Mob pulls can get a tad out of hand due to how the mobs in Eureka work. That and one can very easily wander into the areas with level 20+ mobs in Anemos and reviving back at camp can delevel you and...yeah. The Eureka grind IS soloable. I've done basically all of it solo on an alt. But...also on WAR. But the grind is also...boring, and tedious, and frustrating by yourself. Especially if you have little knowledge of how the area works. And ya can't just ask anyone for help, because if they are too high above you in elemental level...your experience gains get utterly slaughtered. Pagos is a whole different set of issues tho...which is why I think so many have not done Eureka all the way through...Attacked one, two others pulled, three on one, dead.

I'm not sure why you're directing me to a point I already agreed with. It is slow and tedious.
That said, I've only tried the front half of the Anemos grind and got from level 1 to 10 in a single session, making use of the bonus EXP chunks gained from killing 30 and 60 enemies of certain elements. After hitting the bonuses I left it "until another week" for the challenge log to reset and never came back to it.
Kinslayer: that was useful advice. Cassie earring is a no go at 14 million, but I got the Vermillion cloak. Ill see how this goes.
Thanking you.
From what I hear they made it easier a bit ago...Back then what you would do is the daily challenges grind of...I wanna say 5-10 of each element of your level? The XP of challenge complete was huge and that's how you get your first several levels. I wanna say at about...level 8 you start finding NM fate chains of the early variety to get your next set of levels till 15. Also getting elemental plates is nice. More means more damage to the opposite or if tanking you can match it for even more resistances.
The level amounts might be different but the tactic was sound.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
