Man, this may be unrelated to the OP or the thread but, this Zephyr guy is just sad.

How posting a list about people blocked makes you different than hunkygladiator posting that cropped screenshots comment meme, you know the one? just curious
For one, I don't know what meme your referring to, as I have hunkygladiator blocked and didn't see it. So no, I don't know the one.
I was contributing to the conversation, the topic being those kinds of posters for that part of this thread. You can see I quoted someone that I replied to. It's not all that challenging to understand.
I also didn't post a list of people I blocked - there are more on it than just those two. Covering hunky's alts is a small list on it's own.
One day, you will see that some people aren't worth your time. Forum trolls for a video game fall into that category for me.
If trying to insult me by calling me sad makes you feel like you really got something off your chest as your 17th post here ever, go right ahead. It's my pleasure.
Coming from *other* MMORPG's, I see similar practices which led to a mass exodus of their player bases, or the game just entering a long slow decline as a whole.
Long periods, of pure content drought. Honestly the last 3 patches have been horrible as a whole for content. We pay a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE to play this game, and you send your director, and developers to go make an entirely different game, (That we have to pay for seperately.) on our dollar while giving us the most lackluster patches with lazy content possible? Are you kidding me? And the audacity to tell us to just "Go play other games." I feel disrespected, and insulted as a paying customer.
I really don't want to rip on the developers, but I expect better. 6.0 has been lacking the polish we deserve. I mean if they were having issues, and were openly communicating with us I feel like there would be less backlash... Just like another company we shall not name. But the lazyness especially when it comes to glamours, Islands, Deep dungeons, Relic weapons, PvP changes. It adds up, and erodes my confidence in their future 10 years of support.
Yoshi-P telling people to play other games is the exact excuse he wants to use because he's very well aware of the lack of content in the game, it's used as a distraction for the subpar work they've been doing with 6.x so far.Coming from *other* MMORPG's, I see similar practices which led to a mass exodus of their player bases, or the game just entering a long slow decline as a whole.

It still comes off as shocking to me; no game company or developer ever says to their players "play something else", this is exactly how you lose customers real fast, and this drought will simply speed it up the process. If I want to play other games, I will, but I'm also paying for this one here, and I'm expecting to be busy, because I want to play this game.
Would it shok you to know he has been saying this since the game launch?
Would it also shock you to learn that the reason he said it wasn't due to lack of faith in his game, it is due to the fact he doesn't want people to feel like they have to play all the time, so go and enjoy other games alongside FFXIV.
Nobody cares about the Real Reason he said it and what he actually meant by it.Would it shok you to know he has been saying this since the game launch?

All they care about is using it against the game, and self-inserting other Reasons that they create in their heads.
Its easy Upvotes I guess.
Unfortunately in other MMOs I’ve seen worse practices all around. My other MMO is ESO and in 2023 they cut new content pretty much in half. Instead of 4 dungeons a year it’s now 2. They used to release a new zone in Q3 but this year….nothing. They claim to be spending a quarter in bug fixes. A new feature that normally would come with the expansion they are pushing to a quarter as the only new content. It’s going to be a long year for that games players once the new expansion settles in.
I’m wondering what mmos people play that add more content and all of it high quality that no one complains about and is universally adored?
Wasnt it 2 dungeons per .x patch aswell at some point?Unfortunately in other MMOs I’ve seen worse practices all around. My other MMO is ESO and in 2023 they cut new content pretty much in half.
