Yoshi-P telling people to play other games is the exact excuse he wants to use because he's very well aware of the lack of content in the game, it's used as a distraction for the subpar work they've been doing with 6.x so far.

Would it shok you to know he has been saying this since the game launch?

Would it also shock you to learn that the reason he said it wasn't due to lack of faith in his game, it is due to the fact he doesn't want people to feel like they have to play all the time, so go and enjoy other games alongside FFXIV.

Nobody cares about the Real Reason he said it and what he actually meant by it.
All they care about is using it against the game, and self-inserting other Reasons that they create in their heads.
