My Lalafell quit because of your friend
frist of all i don't want to hurt your friend feelings now with that out of the way i invited my Lalafell to try out the game with the free login promo lately because he wanted to be a tall person he started in ul duh so I followed him all the way and he has to do the main scenario quest and one of the very early quests is about nanamo where she was disguised as a peasant running around and freaking her bodyguards out so he did the quest but he was so creeped out by your friend doing the quest at the same time and his old boduguard but i told him the story gets better but ul duh is city of the friends so he basically doesn't want to continue on because he found it too weird to have all these friend people running around all over the place because it was really creepy and i tried telling him how much better the game becomes and it isnt just friends there are also enemies and whatever nero is but he also got bored since the combat early on is just one button and plus your friend made him quit the game at level 8 while he was at black brush station and this is honestly such a shame because he was curious about the endgame raids when i showed him top but he can't get over your friend look im not trying to shame your friend or whatever but im just trying to get this off my chest because it sucks that my Lalafell doesn't want to play this game peace

Your friend is weak and his bloodline is weak and history will not remember him.
Despite many people omitting this, it's actually quite true that many people find Lalafells uncomfortable to have around because they resemble children, not little people. Dwarves and Gnomes in World of Warcraft somewhat resemble little people, but Lalafells look like children, which many find unsettling. Of course, if you ask in certain people, you will be met with the excuse that they are actually "700 year old dragons" or "vampires". However, the reality is that few want to bring up Final Fantasy outside of its community due to perceived degeneracy. This issue is not exclusive to Lalafells, but it is a significant factor.
The whole community can be summed up in "FF14 is such a cool game, you can play as these little people that don't look like children at all, we call them potatoes to passive aggressively flame them for choosing a little children, but they're not really children when we speak from a moral high ground. However, they are not allowed for ERP because they look like children."
Sorry to hear about your buddy's Lalaphobia and your broken Shift and . keys.
Doubt it will make a difference but you can pay for a boost to jump forward in the game.
I don't think your petition to remove an entire race from the game is going to gain any traction.
The game has many perceived things about it like when I try to invite friends I played WoW with as a reason to reject trying it "it's a Japanese anime game don't want to play that","don't want to play a game with oversized weapon and well endowed girls as the main focus", "isn't that a weeb game" or if they do download it get responses like "I've already played 16 hours of the game and I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere I don't feel like investing a lot of time", "beginning classes are too easy it's boring" "honestly the small race didn't even come up but that's cuz most people hate even the gnomes and goblins in WoW really so Lalafell are same the few that are still playing that I know (so like 3 out of 13 I invited) see Lalafell as vastly superior and more in depth race tho.Despite many people omitting this, it's actually quite true that many people find Lalafells uncomfortable to have around because they resemble children, not little people.
