I'm sure a lot of people want the ultimate weapons too, but we don't sell those at vending machines to make the process easy for the people who don't want to put the effort in or who don't like the grind.

I'm not suggesting that it should be that way. I'm just pointing out that some players would disagree with what that poster said.

If you want a reward then you do the content that is required to get it. Ultimate weapons aren't quite the same as the relic weapons because of the skill level involved. While there are less than ethical ways to still get those weapons and some players will go that route, most will accept them as inaccessible.

That hasn't been the case with the relic weapons. The content for them is accessible to the average player and so they do the quests to get them. It's not going to change that if they don't like the associated content, they're going to feel forced into doing that content so they can get the new relic.
