theres still rewards in new deep, that hasnt changed. if you dont like those rewards then thats a personal problem

not liking weapon designs and the mounts are bothpersonal problems. if you dont want to farm cause you hate the design thats entirely on you.

are you going to pretend the weapons from palace or heavens were anything to write home about either? its all personal taste, just because you dont like it doesnt mean it doesnt exist as something to work towards.

because if your idea of "things to do" is mindless BS like the arr and hw relics that are worse than savage weapons for 80% of the expac then i dont think your thoughts are who the devs should listen to.

Ultimates is an activity designed to be enjoyed by a very specific group of players, it's definitely not made for everyone. You're not going to solve any issue by recommending that to people starved for content.

If healers being told go play ultimate in response to how they felt about their jobs being gutted in Shadowbringers then I can't imagine why anyone would think that's a serious thing to suggest to someone whose upset about the lack of decent battle content this expansion.

yeah and im enjoying this game but not having to do mindless tasks for a arr/hw style relic

he wants something to do but outside of explore zones(that i also liked)
he hates the new deep rewards and extreme rewards, so he wont do them despite doing so in the past

That is actually the reply anyone would give you considering your posts in here.
Someone asked you what you like previously.
You named off things we still have but you just don't like the current rewards.
So in this case, yes, your taste towards the rewards is what's affecting you (or at least the ones that the poster had bolded as the reply to)

The developers should be doing their best to listen to all player feedback, not just the feedback you agree with. We're all looking for different things from the game.

I'm definitely not an Aveyond fan but at least now we have a few constructive posts from them that read like actual feedback instead of "game is terrible and dying, only I know how to save it"..

Perhaps you didn't like the ARR/HW relic quest designs but others did like them while disliking Eureka/Bozja. The developers get stuck in the middle - how to design things to appeal to a majority of players instead of just the vocal minorities. We're seeing that repeat this expansion. Last expansion there were players complaining about how they hated the relic grind forcing them into very specific content options with none of those options appealing. This expansion the developers decided to try the opposite - give players near total freedom on end game content choice for grinding their relics. Yet again, we ended up with a very vocal group saying they don't like it.

We'll have to wait and see what they have in mind for the 7.x relics now.

They probably also have relic completion data (through achievements or whatever) and may have seen how much or how little players actually engaged with that content - making decisions on how much engagement they are getting vs. the effort to create the content.

Yes. Why on earth would you expect me to engage in content that gives terrible rewards? There's underwhelming and then there's straight up "who asked for this" when it comes to the rewards Eureka Orthos gives. It's as if Starbucks advertised they were going to release a new drink and all it had in it is water and food coloring. No wonder people aren't impressed. Incentive for content is just as important as making sure the content doesn't feel awful to play.

But now in Endwalker it feels like we've gotten the worst of both worlds.
