That's some rough luck.

I've used plenty of Pure White and Pure Black dyes over the years and have never made a dye purchase on the cash shop. Regardless, you can just buy them in-game if you have tbe gil to afford it.

GW2 was so good dye-wise. I think it has the best system I've seen.

ESO has a great system too. You have three sections to dye instead of only one colour and a ton of options, of course certain dyes are locked behind achievements but it’s a cool little detail when you see someone prancing around with a blacker dye than yours

There would be no need for all the dyes the game currently uses under this system. We would just need base colors and we can control the shade of it by applying more or less of those colors. The combinations would be endless e.g. x4 blue, x3 yellow, x1 brown = moss green. Not that I oppose such a system, but it could make dying gear more cumbersome than it needs to be.

I honestly just wish there was something along the lines of a 'match color' dye that works like the dropper in paint/photoshop. Patterns like polka dots, H stripes, V stripes, camo etc. would be cool too.

Yes, they are untradeable versions, but I got plenty that way.

I find that the colours are missing, even though they exist on ingame gears.

I would like for example this colour in a very bright way, but it doesn't exist, dark purple.


But it is present on the NIN Endwalker relic.

And a lot of nice colours potentially wasted on the outfits, even the 16€ ones

Have a look at "abyssal blue" dye. It really should be on the purple page.

I think the biggest gap we have is magenta, which gets used as a theme colour on some caster gear sets (eg. Shisui and Sky Pirate) and others like the Gambler and Yafaemi sets, but can't be matched at all, unless you want to go for the metallic dye.

Mao agrees SO much! Mao likes the Shisui Purples SO much but Mao can't copies it or dye the Shisui gears. Mao sad.....
