I get the point you're making, but there aren't any dyes that are exclusively only available on the cash shop. They're just easier to get that way. You can acquire them through ventures, the market board, or even the recruitment program feathers.
My retainers NEVER brought a pure white dye ;__; I started believing everyone else was lying just as copium :3

Okay, just watch. Now that you said that, you're going to get two pure white dyes.
As an aside, to anyone posting, can't we get pure dyes by trading in gold chocobo feathers?

That's some rough luck.
I've used plenty of Pure White and Pure Black dyes over the years and have never made a dye purchase on the cash shop. Regardless, you can just buy them in-game if you have tbe gil to afford it.

If want see what really good dye system looks like, take peek at GW2. Hundreds of colors. Once dye is obtained, is go into database attached to character and can be used at will from that point on. Gears have 2 separate dye channels. Can even dye mounts.
...This is the first time i've seen you not start your post with "Mao this or that". I'm not complaining, just surprised.
Maybe it was someone else?

I could love for armour to have different dyeable parts, instead of a single one that dyes the whole thing.
I'm sure it's too late to implement such a thing with the huge amount of armour pieces this game has. But what if they only apply this to the new gear we'll get after 7.0? W-would that be too chaotic? I guess so...
Also this:
GW2 was so good dye-wise. I think it has the best system I've seen.

GW2 does have an excellent dye system.
Personally I would settle for dyes that at least match the existing colors on all gear. There are a lot of times where you can't color match because the gear piece either has a unique shade or the material gives it a different tone.
