Darkhold runs are fairly decent since a small group can do it now and the drops at the end are worth 1-2k seals each I believe. The rank up can be a long-term goal and best of all apparently the Commemorative Coin you get from completing the rank up quest can be traded in for 25,000 seals essentially giving you the weapon for free.

I have to agree, The amount of spaming 2 priamal runs (With the crappist drop rates) and 3 raid/dungeons (which everytime i have done them is just speed through them as fast as people can is hard to get seals. I do like the fast there are the caravans, and the supply mission and leves to help earn seals as well. But i also agree with the fact that there needs to be something to work towards in that aspect.
I liked the stuff like dynamis and stuff that i could only do a couple times a week, atleast you didn;t get overly burned out with in a week... becuase there were 4 cities. Plus there was more content, and planning involved than just run through to the 1st boss, then more running and getting the end boss.. really there as been other forum post kinda talking about this, but really keep the speed run dungeons/raids, but add some content dungeons... thats still working towards something with out makeing the end goal so blatently out of reach...
    Just my opnion.

It's true. Once you've done your 25k quest and saluted to the guy you can go to the black market and trade it in for 25k.

Nothing is stopping you from only doing caravans/leves/dungeons a few times every so often so you don't get burned out, and you can rotate between things. 25k seals is not that much time especially in caravans or darkhold drops. Once the initial rush for caravan seals dies out it should be easier to go at your own pace.

@Sayuri if you don't know where the black market is, you can check it out here.

Sweet been trying to figure out who gives it to you. Thanks guys. Do you think it will be worth more to the black market npc after 2.0 comes out?

Doubt it but there's no point in sitting on it. Come 2.0 there will undoubtedly be better/more plentiful/more variety seal options anyway.

I don't actively try too hard for seals and am currently sitting on about 17K. Sure, I'll do the occasional toto-rak speed run with a friend, or turn in some branches if I remember it's Sunday/Wednesday and I have them. Every little NM that crosses my path meets it's destruction in the name of seal and sure, if I see a Chocobo-mission I'll jump in if there's room. And When I'm leveling in my area, I'll even pick up a leve or 2. And of course, I try to do the missions that reward seals...but I don't say 'Hey, KK, lets go do caravans for 3 hours for seals.'

Doing a little a couple times a week gets you further than you think. Heck, I even occasionally make the 'heros of the adders' list with this method. You only need to 'try' to get seals if you want an item NOW! Otherwise, just throw in a company-related something 2-3 times a week and you'd be surprised how far you get. ...speaking of, I have some boots and a cane I can turn in...

Keep in mind, I AM working on relic, but as I don't have 9/9 on the hamlet items, I still have time to earn the remaining 8Kish seals I need. Maybe if I'm still shy a couple when i'm 7/9 on seals, I'll worry more.

Is there any use for the coin other than trading it to the qiqirn for seals?
