I was not aware there was such a limit. I have never reached it, and very few non-obsessive players will ever reach it.
I do believe it is true that it is designed to make people use other platforms. It is far more likely to make people stop and think that they should perhaps step away from the computer and do something that is not related to any game at all, because nobody has enough interesting things to say that it actually requires 20 posts per day.

some people such as the OP, rarely have enough interesting things to fill one post.
