I'm tired of the preview pics showing cute shorts and logging on only to find out it's another generic pair of pants on men. Would love to see a toggle, especially since the next expac is putting a huge focus on customizing your character.

That reminds me of one of my favourite pieces of glam, Uraeus Coat. Which looks awesome on my male characters, and colours pretty well too. But on the females ... it has an ugly black piece of fabric slapped across the middle of it for no reason. It makes me so sad, I could only write my disappointment in Comic Sans.

There's a reason for certain. Two reasons, you might say.
Personally I wish they would add proper undershirts rather than bras when they do this sort of cover-up. It would make it look more deliberate and less like their underwear is showing. (Maybe not this design so much, where the very open shirt seems to be the point of it, but other things like the Holy Rainbow shirts and the ones like what Yda wears.)
The thing is, the female version doesn't need to show any more of the chest area than the male version does, and it would be fine still. Certainly still less revealing than any bathing suit, Lyse's Leadership Attire, or the various Shisui Attires. Instead, we got an ugly black void smack in the middle of it.
