it's ok it's a " minority" of people complaining

because everyone else that was complaining and/or hoped the game would get better got fed up and left the game, and all that is left is a minority of people complaining and a massive amount of people coping that the game will one day get better, magically, because those same people will deny any sort of complaint made agaisnt the game, no matter if its a suggestion for the game to get better, some new content, they know best, "just quit the game or take a very long break"

I do have to say though, in my now 15 years of games, FFXIV is the first game in which it's actually a "good thing" and "encouraged" not to play the game and to play other games instead. It's a new low.

Actually good advice. If 7.0 content goes the way of Endwalker, you could basically wait until a free login week and do literally everything and have extra time to spare.

Across every mmorpg I've ever played, when it became clear that standards were objectively slipping and people brought this up, we'd always get told to just quit if we didn't like it. I'll never understand this perspective. Barring some obvious trolls, generally speaking someone who cares enough to waste their time going to the forums to address the game's trajectory probably isn't just doing it to shit on your favorite toy. They don't want to quit. They want to watch the game succeed where so many other mmos peaked and then got complacent and failed before it.

People who enter threads that are critical of the game and just reply with a meme image saying they didn't read it or whatever, are some of the cringiest people here. Not only are they bumping the thread to the top for more people to see, but they're also declaring to the world that they're too stupid to read a few paragraphs, too undisciplined to just scroll past a topic they're exhausted by, and wholly unable to produce a real counterpoint.

I will say on another account I had just done the expansion and none of the patches. You can do all the MSQ, trials, and raids in one weekend if you are focused.
