I think the way they did it in 6.15 could/would be the best way to gage community reaction in a covert and somewhat controlled way.

They heard the outcry and straight up got a way to see how people who did all that content feel about the situation. It would be a somewhat good way to anonymously gage people responses and have a way to poll with minimal ballot stuffing/bots.
YoshiP Moments after reviewing the internal player engagement stats and realizing all of the new major systems introduced in Endwalker have inferior metrics compared to Bozja.

I don't want to play other games I want to play FFXIV. Any content that can keep me here, the better. I just want it to be actually fun and not a brain snooze grind.

That's not really what's being done here, though?
We have an OP that's basically just going, "I'm glad to see that larger-reaching sections of the community are starting to talk about what are, to me, some of the game's increasingly obvious shortcomings. Here's one random example. (On which note, maybe we can talk about those things further here.)"
And now we have a thread of people having that discussion, where it can manage to fit in through outcries of "Boo! Streamers boo!" that are almost entirely irrelevant to the point at hand.
Hence the "Nobody asked." Because the point wasn't one's opinion about streamers, but merely a comment on how criticism has been cycling, and its more recent topics (available content, use and framing of grinds, etc.).

I apologize for the delay - as being one of the seemingly few people who vocally enjoy the game, I tend to get so many quotes and responses to everything I type here that I simply ran out of my daily posts. That's not really what's being done here, though?

Your post did give me a bit of a chuckle, as that is exactly what he did. He posted Zepla's link, then used this as some sort of evidence that she agreed with his views about how "terrible" the game is. He actually used "terrible" three times in his OP. He then stated "Video game content creators are a barometer of the mood of the playerbase." He follows this up with putting my quote and all caps and changing what I said while pretending to quote me, claiming I refuse to listen to Zepla or some nonsense. This is pretty funny given the quote he changed started with "I like Zepla" meaning I do listen to her videos, and do engage with them. I commented on her video, and the funny thing is - the majority of her audience in the comments section actually like this expansion's approach to the relic weapons. So I guess Zepla's video wasn't even the barometer of her own audience. This is to be expected as she's mostly playing another game right now anyway. Something I know, because yes, I do engage with her content.
The OP can speak for himself. You've been here for an astonishing 10,673 posts. Certainly you've seen this poster and his behavior here given he has multiple threads (all negative) spamming throughout the top 5 to 7 pages of the forums here. He's an instigator and rude, and not the saccharin and polite poster you tried to make him out to be when you decided to rewrite his points. Instead, he rudely wrote "nobody asked" to be dismissive, and then ended his other response to me with "suck it!" This is not how you speak to another adult, or anyone really. On other forums like ESO's that has an active community team, this type of behavior would be moderated. Here I am happy to report that one of his threads I had reported was deleted, but his consistent rule violations according to rules on being polite and not making reptetive posts just goes unmoderated.
For now I'm just going to go back to blocking specific people who have no ability to articulate their own points without stooping to insults. Given this is a video game forum, nothing will be lost by not spending further time on such people.

BLOCKED BLOCKED BLOCKED

As mentioned before, they are both just clowns with microphones that mostly would do things like this, because the game does not go their degraded way of gameplay and both Zepla and that MrHappy person only cover a small small fraction of players opinions and whatever is in it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gocvyuEUtK0
Love it when people are finally waking up to Endwalker being a terrible expansion, and not just a terrible expansion but the continuation of a terrible design ethos in this game starting from Stormblood.
Also, Bozja had a far better story than EW Relic lol, so it's not even decent as a "story-based" relic.
MrHappy: "EXPANSION OF DISASTERS"
NO thanks to be doing the ARR Raids 15 times x 3 or whatever, the Devs and Yoshi P already know what torture it is to do alliance raids, so why punish the people further, with mindless idiotic grinds, give us Bozja or Eureka based content instead so we can go out there and actually do something that is not normally daily torture.
And as for those streamers... what about them... they stand on top of each others shoulders datamining content that they then show in their videos.. and whatever they try and tell as news and so on and so forth, where as some of those mounts and the likes is not obtainable within a day of a release of a patch due to heavy restrictions and the likes and things one must pass.
Stop wasting time on them, and instead of watching them complaining, maybe actually start playing the game instead, their way of influencing and or the likes only follow their own degraded views of the game and not everything as a whole, they do not cover that nor do they have the data for it either and the data from the forum is more or less inhabile, as in it is usually the same people that complain all the time.
