    I meant to the scope that is more akin to Witcher 3 (beastiary / codex) or some bioware game's codex, where like.. everything is in there lol. Hundreds upon thousands of lines of text that show up for most general topics. Although you're right we sort of have one, it's just really late and doesn't cover a lot. To be completely fair such a feat at this stage in the game would be extremely intensive and honestly might be easier to do for a new MMO but /shrug, it's a wishlist not a 'be budget friendly and mindful of people's time list'. lol.

    Oh yeah, the Unending Codex is like, a really nice thing that gets added unreasonably late, it's really obvious how even the devs acknowledge this when entries get unlocked in the codex because a character namedropped Fandaniel or the Final Days, even thought hey are no longer relevant nor will ever be other than in reference to past events, how much nicer would be if you got an entry of the Final Days when you got to Amaurot, which then gets updated when you go through Thavnair 2, Elpis, and Ultima Thule in EW, for example, which is why I feel it would've been an amazing feature to have since the start of the game, I can only hope that it will be used more effectively in 7.0 onwards.

    Maybe it would just not be feasible to add it retroactively, since it likely requires certain triggers to unlock entries, and would demand old players to replay the entire story through NG+ to make it work, but alas...

    I'd like to see fights less scripted and be more reactive to the current situation instead. Right now you know what mechanic is coming and you can already go place yourself at the correct spot many seconds in advance. I'm sure it's due to how the server tick rate works. Hell, you can even pre-plan the full fight on a website because it's so scripted.

    Oh a related note, though I do like how encounters are done in FF as they stand, I was watching a video Preach did about GW2 raiding (link for those who care) and he mentions one of the raid bosses wouldn't move on to its next mechanic until the current one had been cleared "properly". I think that could be an interesting addition to a fight or two in FF. Not *every* encounter, but an occasional one.

    Heres my "wishlist"
    -Improve Skills on older content Older content feels awful to play currently, Even stormblood is starting to feel a bit bad for me.
    -Dungeons, with more hard modes Criterion and the new sort of dungeon stuff is good and all (doubt they're coming back but i hope), but I want more difficult/hard hitting versions of normal dungeons, doesn't have to be EXT/Savage levels.
    -Tank changes I'd like something that changes up all tanks ideally, At least some reworks for DRK/PLD without making them more boring, DRK needs to move away from warrior, PLD in it's current form is weird and has a bunch of bloat, don't get rid of things like Cover, shield bash or clemency but actually make them good tools for PLD.
    -Healer Overhaul All healers are in need of changing, either A: Heal more or B: give them more damage buttons, Spamming one dps button and hardly needing to make a choice when to heal or when to dps isn't a good system.
    -No more clipping hair styles, more feminine long ones that don't clip Prolly hard to do but every good female hair seems to have a bunch of clipping issues even the short/medium sized ones. also please no more capes that ruin miqo'te/au ra tails thanks.
    -Allow people to remove shoulder pads, Use glams as any class I don't like massive shoulder pads but i like armor sets, also let people use glam from other sets you can already go in as a tank wearing nothing basically no point in keeping the current glamour system.
    -Move away from 120 raid buffs and current combat design I just want something new and fun, the shb/ew design isn't working for me anymore personally.

    Shame the rewards ensure that it wont have a strong history.. certainly a bit late for a lot of changes but maybe some quick and dirty fixes would be to add mooglestones to them during the event we have but also potentially older stones and just leave those in there lol. Or to add potential treasure portals, open one of those doors and it's a bonus portal room with slightly adjusted treasure drops associated to that portal, and potentially optional bonus personal loot if you haven't looted your daily treasure chest (from DoL, but does take your treasure chest drop- creating a semi-self balance so treasure chests on the market / activity in general are still of value).

    Both of those could add a fairly expansive list of drops without too much additional development time...

    Ah, ok. Yeah I think it'd suck if variants went away after this patch cycle. They're a great medium to explore random lore that the msq isn't really touching on, while also allowing us to quest with specific NPCs. Storywise its like a trial series, but a dungeon.

    More interesting boss mechanics. I'm so sick of in/out, half-room cleaves, and opposite colours. Every fight feels like a reskin of the last.

    Also make trash mobs in MSQ dungeons more interesting with actual mechanics, or at least make their attacks more lethal. Criterion made trash interesting, and so did the NieR raids (the tank/jet in Copied Factory, the laser tunnel in Puppets' Bunker, the quadruple jets and 2Ps in Paradigm's Breach). Are we really continue with wall-to-wall pulls of braindead trash mobs, then boss, and rinse repeat until the end of the dungeon? They put in effort into trash mob designs and localising their attack names, but at most all they do are autos and AoE puddles. Most of the time I don't even know what I'm killing, it's just an annoying thing I have to get past to get to the boss.
