Its worth doing Eureka on 2023?

Tbh im not that interested on the armor, I just like shiny weapon and thats it, if I get any other minion/orchestrion i welcome them too.

Weapon shouldn't be a giant problem, but you're going to want to play during weekend days to make sure you get an instance with people doing the big boss for the area as well as the fates for crystals(I also highly suggest data center visiting Aether as the other ones are a little deader). Progressing your level you can do anytime but gathering crystals or whatever they were called is much faster doing fate trains.

Ozma mount look cool, but everyone saying baldesion is a slog so we will see in the future.

There's a lot of Discords out there expressly organized to get people running BA, so if you're OK with navigating those it'll probably not be all that bad. People say sometimes it takes a couple runs (sometimes people fail) , but they're still being done regularly.

Are you asking about Bunny fates? I never had a problem. There's apparently a bot population farming them in some places, but they're solo-able and give good rewards, some of the mounts that can drop from the gold chests sell for a couple mil. I have no idea what relation they have to reddit.

Personally I don't like Eureka. I've been trying to work myself up to getting a single relic done for the past two years, give or take.
I've yet to get past the second area.
I generally find it just tedious and kinda boring. The whole time I'm there I'm thinking of better ways I could be spending my time. It's just not for me.

You may find it not quite so bad yourself, and genuinely I hope that is the case, just be aware, depending on your tastes it might be the worst relic to obtain.

That's great. I did it entirely by myself doing challenges every week and then when I got to pyros I ran bunny fates all day to farm XP and drops to sell.

One of the best parts of pyros, but also the reason bots invade the instances

You aren't wrong.

It is, without a doubt a grind if you are attempting it solo, and Pagos, is an absolute nightmare of a zone.
Once you hit Pyros, and unlock all the Logos Actions, you will feel so stupidly powerful compared to anything else in the zone at your Elemental level.

Eureka, is best done in small incriments, or finding somebody to shieldbot you while you just mass pull and hypergrind the levels fast to get you into Pyros where you can just Reflect train to the next zone.

Its still doable just the grind will be a slow churn if you dont have a dedicated friend to run it with you.

Whats worse you cant really have a veteran properly help you clear mobs because of the level discrepency preventing low level players from gaining exp if they have a higher level player in the party; with the only exception being NMs (Fates)

Either way if you reeeeally want to, the grind can be done within a week but I dont recommend it because the process of grinding NMs (since youll fill out your weekly challenge log for exp chunks quickly if you try to do this all in one week) is just not fun.

Id say still do it but definitely do this at a weekly pace by relying on your weekly logs for getting exp and then try to join NMs along the way. And yeah you want to simulatenously prog on your relic of choice with the Eureka prog as itll help give you a clear goal to work for while doing the zones.

But seriously if you can manage to snag a friend or two whom are also starting out DO IT.

I wasn't at the location when it happened, but I remember everyone passive aggressively complaining about the guy on shout chat.

I was pleasantly surprised, because I expected Eureka to be kinda dead.

If there were enough people to complain in shout chat, it was probably a cash mob. Those start from Pagos onward. You can always tell when one is coming up due because the instance actually breaks 30 people.

I started Eureka two months ago, and I had a taste of salt on the second day. Someone started a FATE without notifying anyone in the instance.

I did that a couple of times. Generally though I'll be trying to spawn them myself and it'll be early in the morning so, I just don't think to bother.

People have had some choice words for me over it, but I've never really thought anything of it.

Probably because the bulk of the others were working on another place spawning another NM and someone was probably keeping up a tracker. Even when there are groups of people (at least on Aether) working on multiple NMs at once there's generally coordination in shout chat on the order to hit them. There's nothing in game that forces the issue but the design of the zone and the number of resources required to get the rewards have necessitated an etiquette that everyone tries to follow so everyone can get what they need. Missing the crystals from a NM can hurt, and especially if it happens more than once.
