Please give us the 7.x relics for free

After hearing recent news about the next step for relic weapons, I was thrown into a deep deep despair. How DARE these devs expect us to grind out tomes for these weapons?! Isn't clearing this short questline enough!?

It's probably too late for the 6.55 step, but I DEMAND that the 7.x relics not require this tome grind. These are CASUAL relics!!! If they are going to require a questline to unlock, they should be given for free, and I mean every step of the relic!

I must say that I am very very disappointed in SE for the decisions they've made for these relic steps. Do they want this game to be WoW with insane grinds for relics!?

Treat your casual players better SE. Treat them better.

I mean, yea, I'm on board with that. I love having cool stuff, and relics are cool stuff.

They may as well give it to people for free. Less time playing the game and more time for going to venues.

They might as well. Doing four quests and spending an hour gathering tomestones (or not, since most people have a stockpile anyway) does not a challenge make.

Why should relics pose a significant challenge every single expansion? Finally they gave us something that doesn’t require a boring grind (which many players hated for several expansions now), and there’s outcry. For me, it’s a nice change, and I don’t have to commit all of my gameplay time to one part of the content.
This expansion is the most content-rich and yet there’s people crying about perceived content-draught.
There’s PvP series malmstones if you like grind, there’s Savages, Unreals, Extremes and Ultimates if you like PvE challenge. Also new Deep Dungeon, completely new Criterion and Variant dungeons, Island Sanctuary to chill at, countless new housing items, fair lottery and much more. There is enough content and it is released faster than in let’s say WoW.
