If that has to happen so be it, I'll stay subbed as long as I need to to keep my houses, my main activity is housing so not sure why I would unsub in any case. Housing is 95% of what I do, the rest being hanging out with friends.
Also not sure what "gotcha" moment you are trying to get with that sentence lmao, I can criticize parts of the game while still loving housing in the same game.

They went hyper theme'd so it might be hard but I'd love to see make-over themes added to Island Sanctuary. Even if it might be fairly big journey of collecting essences of X Y Z areas. Skybox and weather changes could go a long way but if they changed the textures of the ground / plants (a lot more to ask)... would really feel like different zones. Alternatively SE could literally just add different wards (Islands) and players could move their mammets to those new Islands. Each Island having potentially unique resources and animals (harbor system being added to harvest from Islands you only outpost).
In context of your post, it would be cool to have a Shirogane (Japanese) theme'd Island. I would love to see Azim Steppe, Amaurot, and Elpis. With Thanalan following behind.
Definitely onboard with Island Sanctuary in the end having all the housing features, and then SE adding more. Though I personally imagine blending the systems together for resource management and to make it less unwieldy. For example a ward house when building a house on the Island would be binding the door to their ward house, so they can enter their house on the Island and leave into the wards. For those without a plot in the ward it would be associated to apartments.
Personally I think demo should remain on for the 'ward' plot but the house itself now is un-demolish-able. If you lose the ward plot you don't lose the house (and all the contents in it). If a ward becomes empty and is collapse-able then the wards condense. Players who want physical address can have it, those who don't wont get to stay there taking up space. Demo should be quite long though, with in game warnings plastered on login lol.

They should call these tomestone weapons and revamp what a relic weapon truly is. See ffxi relics minus the insane dynamis grind of course

The best part is that these relic weapons are a million times easier to get than the casual tomestone weapons and they're better too.
The next best part is that there is a weapon from Eureka Orthos which you can get after clearing floor 100 and trading in 90 aetherpool. The weapon is only ilvl 625. Way harder to get than the tomestone weapon or the relic but it is weaker anyway. All in the same patch.
It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.
Yep, I've said that here multiple times too. Literally no reason to do it when the relic cannibalizes the reward within the same patch, a weapon that's basically handed to you versus a weapon that actually takes effort and sucks in comparison. You really have to wonder what these devs are thinking if anything when they release these in the same patch.
