I Always love the buzzword minority when I see it on the forums. People throw that baseless word around so much without any evidence to back it up with.

What? Dude, these things suck. There's literally zero reason to bother with them if you're willing to spring for a tomestone weapon or EX weapon. About the only people actively wielding them on anything other than alt jobs they don't care about are those who for whatever reason just refuse to engage with the part of the game that's, you know, a game.

if you had to choose
wait 4 weeks to make a tome weapon i660 (plus do 3 24 mans for augment)
farm a EX trial for a i655 weapon
or just hand in 1500 tomes for a i660/5 weapon ( you have hildibrand done in this scenario)

This is created on the implication that all of the said weapons are released at the exact same point in time, what nonsense.

People aren't going to not get a tome weapon, an ex-primal weapon just because there's going to be a relic that releases several months down the line that will be on part with it. People will pick those because they will be the best ones to get at the time without needing to step into, say, savage.

...and yet you get your roulette fix whenever you so wish, they're not going anywhere. When exactly are those of us who want something different to roulettes meant to get actual content, then? The tomestone event currently live also revolves around roulettes.

Maybe the player population and retention for players who do more than hang around in venues isn't very solid and so this is a cynical attempt to desperately try and breathe new life into roulette queues. Even as they continue to update the bulk of the game to be completed solo style.

You can already do roulettes whenever you wish, roulettes are all this game is about (and they are the most damn boring thing, as if having 2 spells to use in a low level dungeon is fun and entertaining), what about the people that want something else ?
