The time for titles is over. Let's implement Accomplishment Plates

You know what would incentivize people to do content and long grinds?

If the adventurer plate thing had a list of accomplishments you can show off so that when people right click on you and view adventurer plate they see all the things you can brag about.

How else can someone show off that they are a Saint of the Firmament, an Alpha Legend, a Necromancer, a Big Fish?



Let people select 5 or so hard-to-earn titles that they want to show off in the adventurer plate.

Bonus: make a whole accomplishment plate that condenses information like this:

but for stuff beyond just raids, like crafting, fishing, exploratory content, relics collected, etc.

This plan is perfect because now people will want to impress the limsa e-girl and fill out their accomplishment plate.

A 5 achievement display is a nice idea to add to such plate, steam already does that for all the games you have. But obviously, information should be kept compact here.

For the newest raids, a single achievement can then already be displayed on such plate. And for the sake of it, savage and ultimate raids can also display some special effects to indicate these are harder to achieve (savage showing a glow, ultimate being animated). And on similar notes, extremely grindy gathering/crafting achievements can also show that glow (if dedicated that much, this dedication is usualy enough to beat savages anyway).

Yes! We are nearing the limit of how many legends we can flex at one time. The plate decorations aren't good enough because it's not apparently obvious which plate stuff is from ultimates (and TOP doesn't have a plate).

Unironically though this is a great idea for pretty much everyone. There is a lot of cool titles in the game.

This is something I have wanted for a long time. Yeah, people can buy and bribe clear accomplishments but I'm nosey and kind of want to see what kind of gamer the person I'm speaking to might be by browsing their grinds.
Even their most recent achievements appearing on plate would work for me.

Yeah, I’d be down for this. I’m not a huge plate/portrait fan given they ruined their implementation but this would definitely be successful Imo. Plates are in a better state at least.

In the last game I played, you got titles for performing well in the PvE content. For example, in a fight where a mechanic would happen 3-4 times, if you evaded it properly every time instead of being a lazy-boy, you got a title at the end with an actually nice name like "squeaky clean" Sometimes you'd have to go back in multiple times to fulfill the quota and get the title. I wish we had stuff like that here. Reasons to go back in. Incentives for doing things right. Instead most of the titles people want involve mind numbing solo grinds where you just bang your head against a wall and add a dash of rng to finish it off.
