    I honestly believe the intention was for BW to do just this, even in AOE, you hit a mob you get HP. Holy Circle works this way, only healing once regardless of mobs hit. But by some accident, either coding it wrong or dev miscommunication, they made it so it heals for EVERY mob hit. Now they can't change it because the WAR mains will cry about how much SE hates them

    Right, but NF's tooltip text also changed from 'heals for a portion of damage dealt' to 'heals for a flat potency'. I guess I just don't see the logic in having NF/BW do the heal per enemy hit, and Holy Circle being different and only doing it once for each cast of the ability. Making Holy Circle heal per mob hit would also invalidate healers more, yes, but I think that ship has sailed long ago. I see there's a run of TOP going around today where a team got to last phase with zero healers

    And this is why SE keeps moving jobs towards all being the same. "But < insert job here > has < insert job ability here > and it is no fair that < my preferred job > doesn't have < insert job ability here >!"

    The playerbase is the driving reason why tanks are nearly identical.

    For the avoidance of misunderstanding, I'm not asking for Holy Circle to heal per mob hit. I'm a healer main, I want NF/BW to be nerfed to only heal once per mob like Holy Circle currently is, having 'three benedictions every 25 seconds' in dungeons is not what I consider good design, I'm sure the WAR players have a great time being a one man army, but it's making us healers more and more redundant and it needs to stop

    Bloodbath was 30 seconds of lifesteal in 90. The potency is stupid, but all that‘s different is the duration and cooldown are shorter.

    Nascent Flash came out in ShB and 2 years after that, they gave WAR Bloodwhetting - essentially doubling down on the self-healing... while granting GNB and PLD their own (not as strong) self-healing abilities and then addressed DRK's invuln to allow them to self-heal as well. That's the direction they are going. Maybe they've gone too far though.
