More options are basically always better, so have my bump.
Then they fit right into the playerbase!
Seriously i never seen a bigger gathering of people with the only personality trait being "mental illness" than in this game.
I wish I could disagree tbh but based on the people I have met in this game I think that this is very true and not only to a small extent, the worst kind of people can be found in this game, and this comes from someone that like most has played so many other MMO's and other types of games, but FFXIV definitely tops the list of people that have some serious problems in real life and/or mental illness and also project that in the game
Just paint it all black and dark grey colours... should help alot on the mood for furniture, as for hair styles I believe there is quite the bunch to pick from same with appearance already. So I'm honestly a little annoyed there is to much light light joy joy stuff, I mean its nice every now and then... but we honestly need more "darkness" options and stuff in general.
Like common give us coffin bookshelfs, coffin make up wall mounats give us skulls that we can lay out, maybe some hot posters of Emet-selch and gothic thancred. give us some hairstyles with like spider web looking accessorys or skull accessorys.
Give us a class that is truely "bad" not oh im dark and bad give us something that breaks laws and rules and gets away with it for being on the "hero team" like give us a chaotic-neutral class that isn't really a good guy feel. Dark knight in theory fits this however it doesn't because at the end of the day its I'm "batman" annoyence level of good.
Reaper also sort of does that as well where its oh im raven from teen titans.. Give us something with no self-controll that only wants to create chaos and death/destruction for the sake of it, for laughs and just decide to work with good because we got arrested kind of thing like sucidal squad.
as for hair styles
stuff like: (yes i have the first one irl now)
but you get the point also please please give us facial piercing options and belly button rings.. I want to have a dangling coffin belly button ring and facial pierces like i have in real life. I dont want to have to break rules and use mods to get my character to look like who she truely is.
lmfao
"would it fit with the game's aesthetic??"
*flies away on a fucking nimbus cloud*
*hops onto my flying motorcycle*
*puts on my schoolgirl uniform, hops on my giant hamster mount, and flies away*
the ship's sailed. if you don't like the aesthetic op wants, just be real and say that you think scene/emo style looks ridiculous on a personal level. but it's way too late to clutch pearls over aesthetic clash in a game that has about 4 dozen modern glams anyway, and a bunch of flying mounts that look like actual modern day vehicles and shit, along with a character who's all about that goth aesthetic in the story (gaia), and multiple jobs that are all themed in grimdark edgebaby stuff. we literally had a streetwear set that came with a pair of jordans, just come off it lmao
also wrote this before reading past page 2 but even if it turns out op is insane or something, i still think there's nothing wrong with more styles in this barren ass game.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with adding more options. The main word there being "options". As in optional. As in "it's there if you want it but if you don't you can ignore it".
Don't know why people are against options.
