The Support in this game is absolute trash.

A few nights ago my phone blew up from my FC mates asking me what happened because my personal house demolished. They assumed I demo'd it myself because we had all be inside it only a few nights earlier (including my character which it belongs to). I never received an email for the auto-demo, it never should have happened.

I tried chat/calling and in game tickets... only to get the same response. A copy/paste report a bug and make sure you checked your email for the auto-demo timer.

Absolutely ridiculous.

That’s… weird. I have never read a bug like that.
So I’m not that surprised they told you to check your e-mails.

How long have you been leaving the house to rot before that party ?

I've seen a handful of other people claiming similar things happening to them over the years. I really hope such a bug is not real for the sake of all house owners. Maybe you have some screenshots from that party so you can prove you were in the house and it should not have demo'd?

Sorry, I think it just stay with weird claims... if didn't enter the house or use any of the actual facilities in it... then there is a chance it went bye bye... if you got a mail back then about it could happen, then why did you not press ctrl + u then click the estate tab to double check.

It clear show more of no interest in actual keeping things and the complaining about it when it goes boom.

What I'm saying is that I did not receive any emails about an auto demolition. I've checked several times now.

I sent in several tickets, called, did chat support. They've basically told me to piss off. I finally was finally able to explain this to one GM and they are escalating the issue to see why it happened. Problem is that they already sold my house and it became an FC estate, and being on Balmung I'm SOL to get another house, maybe ever.

I log in weekly to do, island stuff and go into my houses on the down months where I don't play as much because I'm not currently raiding. I've done it without fail every week for over 5 years in this house and since housing came out for my FC's house.

If this "escalation" doesn't pan out (if it even happens) I'm not sure what else to do. It's super shitty and I feel like I've wasted a ton of money and time into that house for it to just vanish when it shouldn't have. I wouldn't have subbed probably 3 years of months over the last 3 expansions if it wasn't for that house.

Have you posted in 'Support' instead of 'Housing'?

Did they not like, check your log of activity to see the last time you entered the estate?
Did you ask the GM to check if it is even possible for them to find this out, as I am not sure myself, but have had them tell me exactly when an FC estate was demolished and they seemed to know who did it and when they last entered the estate to take all my furnishings.

I would request they check, and also go check the Resident Caretaker NPC to verify the estate status and get the furnishings and Gil refund.
If it was bug and you had not waited 45 days, you shouldn't receive anything one would think. Maybe someone has access to your account too, ask them to check login stuff?

Make sure you check the Resident Caretaker npc for some of the gil spent on the plot as well as furnishings (especially any mogstation/event furniture). There's only 35 days to collect it from the npc after the house has been demolished, after which the system will remove all of it. I hope they can figure out what went wrong for you, but I don't think anyone got their house reinstated in past cases of this.

I'm sorry this happened to you, I made it a habit to go to bed inside my home every time I log off to ensure the auto demolition timer resets daily.
