Agreed. We're (that is to say, those of us who agree with the OP) all sick of different Scions. Personally, the only ones I can still tolerate at this stage are Urianger and Estinien. I'm sick of the twins, who are repeatedly treated as adults and are insufferable both alone and together. I'm sick of Y'shtola, whose blindness only exists when the plot calls for it, and who is running out her nine lives so quickly that it's become boring. I'm sick of Thancred, who I think would be better served working on a way to get back to the First, and who keeps taking subterfuge roles - it's my opinion that at this point we should have a Bozjan Hrothgar as our subterfuge Scion.
Though she's a divisive character, Lyse has been handled well and in my opinion, she's a good example of appropriately retiring a Scion. She's still around when the story calls for it, but when her arc 'finished', she stop being one of the main cast. Of course, by now I'm so soured on, say, Y'shtola that I'd prefer her to just be killed off. Alas, the game's Supreme Waifu is never going to be killed. So instead we're stuck with someone whose only real 'weakness' is rarely mentioned or developed upon, and who has the personality of wet cardboard.
