Would a Reraise ability break the game?

the name implies I have already raised them once, so am raising again? but if they havent died yet.. then its not reraising them

The name is meaningless, like many Final Fantasy action names. If you speak classical Final Fantasy you know it, otherwise don't think about it too much.

I have tried to come up with a use case scenario for this and I am afraid I cant think of one.

Healer: [Casts Reraise on self.]
Tank: [Survives the mechanic so that the fight doesn't reset even though everyone else died.]
Healer: [Gets back up and LB3s.]
