In a game where there is little low level content, or content that doesn't require enormous investments of time to see a result, where exactly does Square Enix intend to move this game to?

As someone who travels a lot for work and is eager to pursue even small achievements in the game such as these GC weapons, charging 25,000 seals for both a rank and then per weapon is exactly the opposite of opening the game up to normal players.

When we reflect on the state of the game we currently have Garuda which, for the most part is inaccessible to the general player base, relics which (accurately) demand a large amount of attention and time investment and now the Grand Company weapons and equipment which push the players through monotonous game play. What good does this do for people who cannot play every day?

It gives the Caravan Escort Longevity.. eventually when there's nothing to by... Chocobo Escort will be a waste land in the long run. and 765~1k seals per run even if you did it 1hr a day you get 4k seals per hr that's 7hrs roughly or 1 week. It gives us something to do for a change and not lying around in ul'dah twiddling our thumbs all day long, and shouting to everyone, THIS GAME IS BORING!! >.>.

Yet the chocobo escort system allows only one group of 8 players to participate at one time. I assume that now with it being the method which rewards the most seals currently it will be swamped and monopolised by players camping the NPCs. I do not discredit SE for giving escorts value, but with a limitation it is transparent.

Yoshi-P doesn't want to add " New New" content till 2.0 is released.. so this is something your going to have to deal with... This is just giving us something to "do" while they get done 2.0... After 2.0, I'm certain they will have lots of new content from your playing pleasures.

There are many ways to obtains seals (Lesser NM/Ifrit/Caravans/GC leves/DH/Totorak/Supplies/Gathering), what monotonous are you talking about? even if you only play 2hr per day you can easily accumulate 2-4k/hour.

Is this what players these days has become? unwilling to work for your stuff? Jesus they finally give a progression content and now people bitch too?

The new GC weapon is strong, they are strong enough to match primals and you wanted them to hands you in a silver platter with a big cheeky smile?

No need for you to be so hostile.

But, do you understand the term monotony? It means repeating the same thing over and over, tedious, repetitive content. Every single one of those things you just mentioned is the embodiment of monotonous game play.

I'm a busy person with an active career; I don't mind the game valuing those people with plenty of time to seek greater rewards but, currently, it has no rewards in place for those players who have little time. Is that a little clearer for you?

Also, your location means "Indonesian language"; ditch the 語 if you want it be just Indonesia.

How do you suppose SE gives out loot then? Oh you did Caravan once, here's the best reward? Oh you did Ifrit once, here are 7 weapons? Of course there is going to be monotony. You can't possibly create enough content to keep people busy if there is no reason to do anything more than once.

If it were my job to design content for MMORPG's I'd give you solutions. However, this isn't up to me to decide or think of ways to provide to the consumer - doing so would only be disappointing for they are unlikely to make an appearance.

You all seem to read what you wish to see, I'm not demanding the best the game has to offer. I would like to see rewards that cater for all types of players. Like I said previously, the relic weapons very accurately demonstrate quality for time investment, as do Garuda weapons represent skill or, previously with the exploit? a lack-thereof.

It's simply (my, personal) disappointment in that currently, the game is being put into a phase that is likened to thinning butter over a lot bread to make more from less. The problem being that is is catered to the more active community. For us 'casual gamers', there is little to do outside of casual content which has little reward per time investment. I could go on about this for an eternity but it's clearly doing no good.

You seem to be too casual to be playing any games at all. If you can't spend 15 minutes here and there doing Caravans, I'm not sure what they could add to please you.

The more I hear things like this, the more I fear this game isn't for you. Maybe in 2.0 they will have these things that you seek. However, SE is a company that needs to bring this game out from the ashes ( in which this game was more for the Casuals back then and look where it got them). So they flipped roles, and more players have been coming on to play ( still not the best yet). but def. alot better than Tanaka's Vision that's for sure.

Edit: By the way Casual Gaming is more of a Console thing.
