    It's all recycled content.
That doesn't change the fact it was made for those weapons tho so its not reused content.... AV/CC wasn't made for relics.... Pretty sure ifrit was not either, there is a diffrence between reused content and content that's made for it. Don't matter if the 95% of the ppl went there for Af2 armor the weapons was there as well at the same time.

While XIV is still largely unoptimized, I noticed playing this on my laptop it takes quite a bit of time to load on start on/zoning, but on my PC it's no more than a 5 seconds at worst, so graphical lag is still the main d/c culprit since it freaks DirectX out.
Well, my DC is totally random, it even happens in secluded area

    Interview with summon info

" As you know there are primals – powerful demigods- in FFXIV. Summons are a staple to any Final Fantasy game, but to me, in recent games the summons have been cheapened because they are so easy to access. The current Ifrit and Garuda battles are hard, but I don’t want a world where everyone has summoned, and is walking around with, their own personal Ifrit. It cheapens how hard it was to get access to that primal. In 2.0 there will only be one of each primal per world. So one Ifrit, maybe one Shiva maybe one Ramuh, per world. These primals will be somewhere in the open world, roaming, and players will need to find them and then get together to defeat the primals. If they win and are the first to defeat it, the primal will come under their (temporary) control. For a 2-week period, the free company or linkshell who defeated the primal will have time to raise up the primals’ “gauge”. If they get it sufficiently raised, they will get to choose when and where to summon the primal for help. It could be used in any battle, and once they use it, the weather in the whole world will change so everyone in the world will know that the group used the primal. Once they summon the primal, it will of course return to the open world."

not gonna look for it but ill sum it up,

LS's/free companys will be able to kill open world primals and spend a week charging it up some how. once its charged they can use it in any battle of choice one time. the sjy in the whole world will change so everyone in game knows the primal was summoned. leader of LS or FC gets to decided when its used.

oh wait. So you have to do every content in game to have relics lol. Hamlet Behest AV CC Carvan Darkhold and Ifrit then we gonna have moogle extreme and garuda extreme lol.
    You
Nope its just Ifrit, because in the Patch notes they only require Ifrit Extreme, and this is the "Concluding" part of the quest.
Why would they adjust these other content for the quest they added above...?

LMFAO, I have "white knighted" alot of things in the past but WK'ing SE's crappy server structure is a joke, alot do have this problem, that's why they are patching it. I run a pretty damn boss set-up with a 40m+ line and still d/c, not taking about crashes, that's bad DX11 stuff and won't be fixed till 2.0

The only difference is relics/dynamis and mythics/AU endgame came together was because they were part of an expansion.

It's not the same in XIV because they're trying to push out content as soon as it's ready so we don't get bored. How do you know they weren't planning this all along? If you ask me, AV/CC drop rates don't seem as bad when you consider the drop rate on relic items in normal, 18 minute+ runs. They were meant to be obtained simultaneously. The relic weapon quest just kept getting postponed.
