That's nothing new. Relics, Mythics and I think Empys were all just recycled content as well. (Not 100% sure on empy, I quit before their release.)
Think about it though. If they made unique content specifically for relics then 95% of the community would be cut out of it, which would cause a shit storm here. There's a reason that recycling content is how they're handling relic quests, yet again.
Dyna was made for relic in xi.....most of all the stuff for Aegis shield was put into the game like the giant ram nm...Nyzul was made for mythic also i don't get your point? That's nothing new. 95% of the people in XI did Dynamis for the AF, not the weapons. Likewise, 95% of the people doing Nyzul were doing it for the unique weapon skills and/or gear drops.
I suppose you also think Einherjar, Salvage and AU Kings were just for Mythics too? Because you needed stuff from all of those to finish the weapons.
It's all recycled content.
That doesn't change the fact it was made for those weapons tho so its not reused content.... AV/CC wasn't made for relics.... Pretty sure ifrit was not either, there is a diffrence between reused content and content that's made for it. Don't matter if the 95% of the ppl went there for Af2 armor the weapons was there as well at the same time.95% of the people in XI did Dynamis for the AF, not the weapons. The only difference is relics/dynamis and mythics/AU endgame came together was because they were part of an expansion. That doesn't change the fact it was made for those weapons tho so its not reused content.... It's not the same in XIV because they're trying to push out content as soon as it's ready so we don't get bored. How do you know they weren't planning this all along? If you ask me, AV/CC drop rates don't seem as bad when you consider the drop rate on relic items in normal, 18 minute+ runs. They were meant to be obtained simultaneously. The relic weapon quest just kept getting postponed.
* In order to gain access to the Bowl of Embers (Extreme), you must have accepted the quest “A Relic Reborn” and fulfilled certain conditions. Furthermore, only parties consisting of eight Disciples of War or Magic of level 50 or higher will be permitted to enter.
level cap raise inc.
Well sorta but we getnew faction leves o/
It worse than I originally thought though, thinking that even after Ifrit you have to get special items from possible Faction bosses and other stuff, then have to craft the relic, wonder if you need to triple meld that or something lol.
Considering the stats they truly are not worth the effort.
