Need help PS5 version

When I went to log on today, I am stuck on connecting to playstation network.

My internet is working because of course the playstation store loads just fine. This has never happened to me before. Does anyone know of a way to fix it?

No one replied yet so are you still having issues? It could be just the PS version was having issues. I was hoping one who is a console player could confirm but no such luck.

I checked on my PS5 and I'm able to connect fine right now. Have you tried again?

This has happened to me before, didn’t last very long, I still reset my router and ps5. Don’t use wifi?

PS5 user here. I've had issues with the wi-fi connection to PSN lately myself but a hardwired connection to the router resolved the issue. If that fails, rebooting the router solves many issues. Are you having any other internet-related issues in your home? For us, the "canary in the coal mine" is when my wife's Netflix programs start disconnecting.

Console player here and can currently log into the game as well as the store. I am using a LAN cable and not wifi if that is helpful at all.

Welcome other PS users. Ahhh. Ye 'ol Playstation Network, the bane of some existence. I have that issue quite a few times and one thing that seems to always fix it, is just by restarting the PlayStation.

Yeah if not constantly trying to restart the launcher doesn't work then I normally do a restart of the system. PSN can be fairly dumb at times.

I haven't had issues connecting *shrugs* I was asleep though during the time frame, could have been a small issue with the psn

A lot more people play on console than I thought! I started on console but moved to PC. My PS4 was starting to sound like it was prepping for take off even after I cleaned it up and I just have no interest on the PS5 ATM. Maybe after the PS5 Pro comes out....on sale.
