I just wish I could have a macro that wouldn't waste Swiftcast if I was out of range for the raise.

Raise Rework
Raise automatically turns into Swift Raise after 60 seconds. To indicate the cooldown, the cooldown slowly replaces the regular colors of the raise icon to a different color variation. This can be done via the regular cooldown wheel or a transition from left to right. Raise can no longer be used with Swiftcast. If there is a Raise buff on an ally, raise or swift raise cannot be used on that ally.
No more wasting mp, no more wasting Swiftcast, no more macros needed.
What I also would like to see is a Raise animation on a downed Ally. Kinda like the animation that you often see in other FF games when using Phoenix Down? Angel feathers falling from the sky, indicating person in the process of being raised? this gives a 2nd indicator to the party that x is being raised and x person with another rez ability? can stop trying to revive them because its covered. This can be indicated by the cast-bar of a party member? but an extra visual indicator would be nice for some I imagine.Raise Rework

We'll give you a fairy that speaks. However it will constantly say "HEY! LISTEN" then state something that is blatantly obvious every 5 seconds... >.>What I also would like to see is a Raise animation on a downed Ally. Finally a topic hitting on the real issues in game. Didn't they change the UI not too long ago to make it so that you can see who is raising who in the party list? No need to ever macro raises again.
Macros that incorporate swiftcast+ rez spells are slow and useless.
By the time a raise macro goes off, I already had time to swiftcast + rez unless I am on CD with my swiftcast in which case the other healer’s macro is also useless.
It’s faster to see/hear if my co-heal is casting swiftcast than waiting to see if a message appears in the chat (which I don’t read anyway).
When a rez goes out, an icon appears in the party list beside the name of the person being resurrected.
If a healer is slow casting, party list shows the castbar and who is targeted.
It’s also possible to focus target the other healer and see who they are targeting.
It can be useful to give a heads up of what is coming (i.e. swiftcast up in x) but a slow macro of an unstoppable event is not.
This is another reason to not use an all in one rez macro, even moreso if it’s one that moves the target to the next dead person. Simple solution: target first (you’ll know if you are in range for the rez), use swiftcast after.

Don't do these, it seriously count as spam, and you can get reported and suspended for it.
They did, and I will tell this to every single caster with a 4 line macro with sound effects, but they always claim it's totally needed that they let everyone know they are raising right now.
If it's obnoxious enough I'll definitely first ask them to stop hitting the macro and if they say "no" I'll throw a report their way. Most of them are just obnoxious enough that I'm willing to spend 2-3 minutes filling out a report for it.
I have 2 raise macros for my rdm. One says Don't you die on me players name then use raise. Other have says Looks like you need a raise then players name then uses raise.
