    Deep dungeon question

    If two people wanted to try and run through potd and the others what would be the two best classes that work together well to accomplish this?

    Hm... depends on skill i guess...

    Warrior + White Mage is what i would probably recommend

    For Heaven on High, I feel like Warrior + Summoner would be ridiculous. Summoner at 70 just wipes enemies with its burst but it's very fragile. Warrior can take a lot of hits without any support.

    A lot of it depends on the players ability with whichever class they choose, but for a smaller party you would want a class that can do good self-sustain, and preferably one that can push out lots of DPS. Warrior and Summoner would be a good combo...as long as the warrior is quick at making sure the summoner stays safe. And the summoner is quick on the revives if the warrior goes down.

    If anything i believe each class has the ability to complete the climb solo. Go with classes you're comfortable with. POTD is a great way to learn and get practice on classes you're not familiar with as well. Spend some time to get some potshards to trade in for regen potions they go a long way. If you guys need to look at a video of the next set of floors to make a game plan do that. There may be fails but you guys will get through it!

    Depends on your own ability - Picking a class for the sake of it without having the requisite skill or knowledge to actually pull off what makes them a good class/combination in the first place does little to serve you. You'd be better just picking a class you're familiar with.

    Back when I did PotD and HoH as a duo they were done with Warrior/White Mage combination.

    PLD and RDM are great for solo because of their all rounder nature. But if you have a partner you’re better off specialising. As others have said WAR and SMN make a great combo because WAR can self-sustain and SMN has great burst and a raise.
