Enter a level 50 trial and observe how many sprouts you get, then try a level 70 trial and compare the number of sprouts. ARR is so boring and uninteresting that it makes most people stop playing.

Old content has nothing to do with making new content. You mention free up memory, like are you talking hard drive space? This game is on par with many other games in relation to storage space. If you are talking about RAM, then that doesn't effect content that isn't loaded at that time. When you are in a dungeon, all the other dungeons aren't using your memory.
They don't need to get rid of older content, they need to innovate on it and expand on it. If they were to actually try you'd find that Guildhests could be designed and reshaped into something a lot more substantive.
They need to breathe new life into older content to either incentivize doing it and interacting with it rather than abandoning and removing it on a routine expansion-by-expansion basis.
Not sure if its bait but removing content is why I stopped playing Destiny 2.
Well Destiny 2 is extremely successful and people play it a ton so I guess you were in the minority. I don't necessarily think deletion would be the best solution, I think abandoning it and moving on to new content would be better, but if my only two options were to delete it and replace it or keep doing what they are doing to the game then by all means wipe it.

That isn't the point being made. The point is that the content "vaulting" is overwhelmingly seen as a negative thing, it's just that the new content is "good enough" that people keep playing. It would likely be doing even better if the old content was also still available.
I don't see it as negative. I support it if it gets us new fun stuff in this game. Sorry you don't feel the same way. That isn't the point being made.
