Mog Station Item Count?

I was thinking about itemcount for houses the other day, and it seemed a natural for the Mog Station, market extra items area. Want additional Itemcount for your house? $1 per item, permanently attached to that house. Seems like a bonanza sitting out there for the taking... THe reason for the fuss is the number of well decorated houses I've looked at over the years.. one floor is superfine, one is just passing through, and the last has some leftover drywall and empty paint buckets. Itemcount is the culprit, although using 'n' partitions to build a balcony takes a bit.

That is how wildstar did it actually as far as i remember, was really nice to have 4000 furniture slots and a giant ass plot as big as the entire ward in XIV. And they managed it without making their servers go up in flames.

Many players have been asking for item limit increase from day one of housing..somehow "asking" has not worked in 8+yrs, maybe the mog station IS the only probable way.

It's quite possible that they can't increase the limit selectively at all, or it seems like something they would already be offering.

They're already announced that item limit increases are coming at some point in 7.x (I'd bet on 7.1 since that tends to be the housing update heavy patch).

Oh, I'm sure the MogStation Queen already has a long list of pay ideas yet to be implemented. She hardly needs help from a player.

This is so dumb, I can see them doing it. But not permanent capacity increase of course, it will be additional sub fee. Please look forward to $2 pre month for every 10 bonus items.

Exact same thing is happening with extra retainers and Companion app sub. Because of their spaghetti code, game can't give regular paying customers more slots - unless you want to give them extra money of course, then you can get 7*175 retainer bank slots for $14 per month and double chocobo saddlebag capacity for another 5$ per month.

Seriously, game's microtransactions are bad as they are, don't give them more predatory ideas for things everyone should have by default.
