I have to ask this, and Id really like some honest answers: Why is everyone so fixated on large and medium? I ask this because, on Kujata at least , on my ward ALONE are maybe 11 smalls no one has touched in months. Loads more in other wards.

How can anyone say there are no houses available when there are plots literally going begging?

How did I get mine? I walked up and bid on it with ZERO competition. So you cant get a large or medium, isnt a house a house? I just dont get it....

Because you're on JP. JP has much less people per server.

945 non-FC open plots. 19 pages worth of individual houses, there are even 2 Ls and 10 Ms available.

How about EU server which isn't new? Here you go, my previous server, before I transferred to new server to have a chance to get a house:

316 open slots! Except that vast majority are FC houses. If you count individual plots, then let's see, 1, 2, 3... 14 houses! One of them is even M. Rest of small have average of ~6 bidders (not super accurate data, data are crowdsourced).

So yeah, many of NA/EU servers don't even have small houses available. On average, JP seems to have 500-1000 of available individual plots, while NA/EU 50-100, with more popular servers not even 20.

There's also the fact that if you're interested in interior design then small houses, especially the item limit, are very restrictive.

Before the system change people still bought small plots, because that meant you had your foot in the door and as soon as a medium became available you could relocate to it from your small house.


Nowadays there is literally no point for people to buy a small if their actual goal is a medium or large.

Most MMO's don't even come close to the cadence of content updates this game gets. Just because it may be content you don't like doesn't mean the game isn't getting frequent updates.

i'd rather wait 6 months for an actual patch with proper content in it than wait 4+ months for IS that lasted a week and that is being used one time a week at this point because everything there is automated, let alone all the abandoned content because it rewards absolutely nothing like the new variant etc, pumping absolutely terrible patches is not a good thing, not sure how in your mind its good to have a good cadence for trash patches instead of a slower cadence for better patches

Endwalker has released more content that missed the mark in terms of appeal. Variant/Criterion. Island Sanctuary. Hildibrand relics.

So yes, if the game isn't releasing content people actually want to do that is a very real issue.

I don't think they missed the mark on variant/criterion. The dungeons were well received but the rewards (or lack of) were def the huge issue.
Island sanctuary I also don't believe to be failed but it should be unlocked earlier. It's not endgame content and is much more casual so locking it behind the msq is an odd decision.
Linkin Hildebrand with the relic was a dumb decision. That I totally agree.

Overall i feel like this expansion was SE just trying new things that honestly, didn't hit the mark. Hopefully they can learn from this and turn it around in 7.0. If not though, I may take a step away from the game.

Define "proper" content. I have friends that love IS. I'm constantly running the new deep dungeon and I love the Variant/Criterion dungeons. While yes, they missed the mark on rewards and need to fix that, its still fun. I also pvp frequently as the new pvp is fun as hell. I wish people would play ranked instead of the casual mode, but its still great.

Again, just because its content YOU don't like doesn't mean its not "proper" content. I'll tell you the same thing I have told aveyond. Unsubscribe. Come back in the next expansion or don't come back at all. If the game isn't giving you what you want then simply stop playing. If you feel like we need content that requires you to log in daily, then please, never come back. We don't need that kind of design infesting this game.
