I have a small on the Goblet, no competition when I bid either..and theres plenty left. So...yes there are housing plots available..you just dont want them.to get any large
A house is a house, not so?
Thats on them then, not on the game. I had a small personal on Kujata, Kallor Cottage, now I have an FC small in literally the same plot as the original. Its still a house, it still has a workshop and its still my home on Kujata...before you comment...look at it this way. That being said, given how unlikely it is for someone to regain a lost medium or large house I suspect a decent chunk of people losing them don't bother subscribing to the game again out of frustration.
50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

[ Citation , proof , sources required ]An expansion's worth of decline in all aspects of the game has displeased and driven out much of the playerbase.
..that are vague, unrealistic or utterly absurd.Of the players that remain there are those who wish to see improvements
According to you and you alone. There has been far too much baseless speculation for my taste anyway, and not enough done by whoever is in charge these days to course correct.
Hyperbole. Exaggeration. Ridiculous over statement. The pillars that held this game up came crashing down one after another after a wrecking ball was taken straight to each
[ Sources requested in detail, in specific and in depth ]but now this is what the public thinks of the game after I explained how fully off the rails the writing became in 6.0
Quoting some unnamed, unsourced, unknown, unverifiable screenshot of an absurd, undated and unidentifiable alleged mobile conversation.Shockingly, those of us who were here mistakenly believing we were going to get a satisfying conclusion and were averse to plots that went full anime nonsense weren't pleased by a certain pair of characters that were singled out as writers favorites.
Semantic content: Zero
Man, are people still trying to pretend the game is fine as-is? Seriously? Good hell, folks. It ain't that hard to admit a product has some problems. It's not a personal attack on your honor or whatever.
Yes. Unfortunately that seems to be precisely how they view criticism of the game and their response in turn keeps FFXIV stuck in place, unable to move forward because their presence in discussion amounts to:
- defending the game on the basis that X game is worse
- endlessly trying to steer the conversation to one over phrasing and semantics
- "I got mine, tough luck" attitudes
- references to the majority being ok with it, as if that somehow is supposed to be a quick bandaid against negative said about the current direction of the game
- asking so what are *your* solutions then? only to then throw them back in my face when I explain in detail what I'd like to see in an ideal patch

How can you type this when you go off in incredibly ragey, almost always exaggerated with dubious claims tangents and provide 0 citations for anything you say. Bro my first time seeing you in the forums was you lying about people openly harassing players over their parses in the game lol or whatever.
Im not the one claiming that the "public is dismayed at the games content"How can you type this when you go off in incredibly ragey, almost always exaggerated with dubious claims tangents and provide 0 citations for anything you say.
Oh yes, that. That you never saw it happen means it didnt happen.Bro my first time seeing you in the forums was you lying about people openly harassing players over their parses in the game lol or whatever.
Got it.
Theres a hole in that logic I could throw a semi trailer through.
Ideal. To who? You?- asking so what are *your* solutions then? only to then throw them back in my face when I explain in detail what I'd like to see in an ideal patch
As yet you have provided no proof or cause to show that what you want will be doable, workeable, welcome or in any way acceptable to the gaming playerbase as a whole. That you believe that what you propose is "good for the game" lacks any cohesive backing, nor does it, as has been said, take into account that your ideas may not be what anyone but you wants.
The concept that you could be WRONG is foreign to you. A major failing.

No one is claiming that you silly billy. People are becoming discontent at the state of the game currently, you can go onto reddit and see people outside the forum complain about it too. Saying the majority of people find it fine is a claim you can't really back up either homebro.
@
Lmfao that was not what you were arguing and you know it. You were claiming that it happens frequently and then linked one article that dated years ago talking about harassment and not even about parsing.
I like poking dumb bears to cause chaosIt's honestly better to ignore Vel, most people already do that, they just cant stop raging and every time any sort of complaint is made agaisnt FFXIV, they'll make a massive rant via a giant wall of text about how the game is perfectly fine and that wow is worse, it's something else really, there's white knights, then there's Vel, another league of their own, but it makes for good entertainment.![]()
I don't go on main sub, only discussion. Is the main sub actually discontent? It has always been like the most positive place. If so that's actually big.
Sure, in that case. But they also listened to people's complaints of piercing meta (by deleting piercing, blunt, slashing), of AST cards (by making them all damage up), etc. And they quickly reverse course when JP rages. My point is that they listen to feedback if it's cheap to implement. People asked for a deep dungeon and now we have Orthos, which is presumably much cheaper to implement than exploratory content. Any feedback that is costly to implement gets ignored, all the way from better exploratory content to job balance (making jobs more diverse increases balancing costs). IMHO we can attribute 90% of this game's problems to the simplest economic problem that exists in humanity: budget. I'm pretty sure this game is not getting the "spare no expenses" treatment and it shows. If they double the budget for this game most of the not-listening-to-feedback problem would disappear if I have to bet.
And this is genuinely annoying when SE seems to be incredibly wasteful with its investments, from an FF7 battle royale to Babylon's Fall, Forspoken, Marvel... I don't even mind if money from FF14 is invested into quality single-player games personally (no, FF7 remake was unpolished at launch with seriously bizarre instances of lack of polish like the PS2-level pixelated background texture when climbing to the top plate, and the game was mostly carried by its excellent gameplay while being average in everything else with the insane padding), but they haven't made any, at least not until FF16 comes out and we can judge it for ourselves.
